So at first I was like, OMGWTFBBQNUWAI!! But then I thought this: he, Sirius, James and Lily were "full time fighters". I reckon they were more concerned about the war than they were about money. They were putting their lives on the line every day.

James would only have to say "we need you in the Order, Remus, not off worrying about having to do some other job to pay me for money I don't need". So I can see that. Not that Remus wouldn't object anyway, LOL. But there was three of them and only one of him, so it's not like he'd win. LOL. *EXPECTS FAN FICTION NOW KTHNXBAI*

NOT the other way around with Dumbledore in HBP. WOW. AWESOME. But yeah, we see in DH he's saying "I'm on your side!!" when you know... he doesn't care anymore. He just doesn't want to die for his morals. LOL. Which I can't really blame him for.

So, this is Rose and Scorpius... as the title subtly suggests. LOL. Yes, they're both Quidditch players, and they're both in Ravenclaw. It's easier for the fanfiction writer within if they are. Plus, then there's the whole "Whoops! I walked in on you changing after Quidditch" thing for later years, LMFAO. XDDD

I really want these guys to totally hit it off from the word go. I have this plot bunny in my head where they meet on the train, and instead of going "OMG UR NAME IS TEH S0X0R" like her father did to his father, Rose finds the history really interesting, and they get on super well. :aww: And they're totally best friends. And then they go to each other's houses during the holidays and HILARITY ENSUES with their fathers. LMFAO. And, as in my previous Malfoy deviation, their mothers get on REALLY well. Like, Victoria (that's what I've named Draco's wife), Hermione and Ginny totally have drinks together and giggle about their silly husbands. LMFAO. XDDDD

I can also totally see Ron and Hermione having this argument about Rose and Scorpius' friendship when they're about 15ish, and Ron going, "Yes, but are they HARRY and Hermione friends, or RON and Hermione friends?" LMFAO XDDD I am teh lewzer. And so is Ron, because I say so. lol

Btw... Scorpius is totally hot here... >.> I gave him his mother's nose (like I did with Teddy and his mother), so he has this really classically sculpted nose. 0.o Ahem.

And red hair is a highly recessive trait. You have two genes for hair colouring; a blonde/dark hair gene, and a red/non-red gene. The red gene has to be turned on to have red hair (and what shade of red will depend on what gene you have in the blonde/dark hair gene), but like I said, it's recessive. Scientists reckon that there will be no red heads in Australia within the next century. 0.o SO YES. That rant was just to quash the whole "ZOMG WHY DOESN'T ROSE HAVE RED HAIR" argument. She does have red SHADING, but it's not traditionally red hair. And it never says she has red hair anyway.

See, it's different with Harry and Ginny's children, because not only is Ginny a red head, but we KNOW that Harry carries the red gene from his mother. So I reckon at least one of their children has red hair. It's actually about a 50% chance that any children they have, will have red hair.

Ah man... I started drawing this on Friday and just had to finish it (despite the extremely long queue of things to be finished, lol).

After reading DH, I came to a shocking conclusion; I no longer want Pansy and Draco to be married in canon. :O I know. OMG, right? I'm just as shocked as you are. I'll try and explain...

Basically, in canon, I don't think that Pansy would ever truly be able to understand Draco anymore... why he did the things he did, and why he thinks the way that he does. I still ship them before DH though. I reckon she tried really hard to understand, but I don't think she ever could.

What I want Draco to do after DH is basically travel the world for a while. Really have a chance to recover, and reassess things. I want him to meet "his wife" in Greece. I know. It's so random. But I can just image in it in fan fiction form, LOL. She's not actually Greek (though her grandfather was). She's there on holiday with some friends, and they meet after a while.

I really wanted a character who he could start afresh with, ya know? Someone who he could, over time, really open up to, and someone who understood him, and accepted and loved him.

I imagine that she was at least six or seven years ahead of Draco at Hogwarts (and was a Hufflepuff, ooooooh the IRONY, LOL), but wasn't in England during the time of the war (she and her parents went abroad a few years previous to the uprising).

Since I'm a Rosie/Scorpius shipper (that is TOTALLY canon btw, LOL), I'll say that I reckon she'd get on really well with Hermione (much to the distaste of their husbands, LOL). And I reckon she'd get on REALLY well with Narcissa. :3 I want her to be just a super nice person :D

And despite knowing all about her... I have no idea what to name her. I'm thinking something Greekish... maybe Greek mythologyish... or Charlotte. LMFAO. TOTALLY a Greek name is Charlotte. XDDD I think that's just because she reminds me of Charlotte from Sex in the City though, LOL. SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME.

ANYWAY. About the actual PICTURE. LOL. Oh... I should mention that this is Mrs. Draco Malfoy, Scorpius Malfoy and Draco Malfoy... though I guess you could probably tell that after my ramble, right? And, like... the title... ^^; haha.

Draco is wearing an Appleby Arrows Quidditch jumper. amberpalette asked what I thought Draco might do for a living after the war, and my knee jerk reaction was "be like Paris Hilton" a.k.a nothing, but be rich. LOL. But I had a think about it, and I'd kinda like to see Draco play Quidditch when he returns to England (after meeting and forming a relationship with the, as previously mentioned, unnamed Mrs Draco Malfoy, lol). I mean, he IS a good Quidditch player... he only ever lost to Harry so far as we're told, and Harry could DEFINITELY have played for England, let alone just A Quidditch Club. And it just must have been SO HARD for Draco to give it up in HBP, that I think he deserves to do something he actually really enjoys. :) Oh, and I think he should be a Chaser.

I have no idea what Scorpius is pointing at, LOL. I imagine him to be the happiest child you've ever met. :D Just coz. And I love his little outfit. Awwwww... *pinches cheek*

And I am in love with Mrs Malfoy's coat. Oh yes. I wants it. It's based on one from a 1957 Harper's Bazaar magazine. Yes, I know, I'm a fashion freak. :D

So... all of this came about because buttfacemakani and I had a devastatingly long Skype chat just basically about the Malfoys, and where we saw them going and what we thought of them in DH and stuff. I made Mrs Malfoy's hair dark brown/black because she was adamant that Scorpius should have black hair until she realised he was meant to be the spit of Draco, LOL, and we spent a very long time debating about her hair colour of all things, LOL.

We also have cooked up a daughter for them because Lucius's reaction to a girl would be HILLARIOUS. LOL. XDDDD Something along the lines of "What is it?" I think... haha!! But I don't think I'll ever draw them with a daughter (unless I decide to draw the Lucius comic I came up with to go with it...).

Oh, and Heather said that she thought Draco's hair loss may have been more to do with the war more than anything... and it'd be hot, like Jude Law's hair loss. Yes. I do actually have a quote with her saying Draco would be hot. I know. The sky has fallen.

And wow... this is REALLY freaking long. If you got through that, you get a cookie, and a Malfoy of your choice.

Okay guys!

I'm currently on my cousin's computer and we're about to head off to see OotP at the IMAX cinema! And THEN... it's off to Dymocks to camp out for the night :D HUZZAH! If you wanna meet up with me, I'll be at the George St Dymocks from about 6pm tonight (the book goes on sale at 9am tomorrow here). I'll be the loser all decked out in Hufflepuff gear :D

The news coverage about the spoilers has been INSANE over here. I can't even listen to the news anymore for fear of hearing something I don't want to know about. The Sydney Morning Herald (I think it was that one) published the New York Times's review of HPDH this morning. DUDE. NOT COOL. I'm so afraid of what I might hear at the release that I've bought my super huge headphones and shall be listening to my iPod the second those books go on sale. I've also got my cloak in my bag so people don't yell at me in the street. LOL.

Josh and I flew to Sydney at some ungodly hour yesterday. I didn't sleep the night before, got two hours in the afternoon and about three hours last night. I suspect I won't sleep tonight either. See, this is the dark side of HP. People don't see all the SLEEP LOST over it!! HAHA.

Josh heard a MAJOR spoiler at the airport (though he's not sure it's true), and they SCANNED MY WAND at security!! LMFAO!! They took my bag aside and said "You've got a long pointed object about this long (he held out his hands) in your bag". "Yeah, that's my wand". 0.o So, I took it out and he INSPECTED IT and then PUT IT THROUGH IN ITS OWN LITTLE BOX. SRSLY. What was I going to do? Sectumsempra him?! LMFAO.

I don't have time to post my Aunt Petunia theory, but I'll just say it has to do with Harry never being allowed to ask questions about ANYTHING and Petunia's ability to lie. I'm sure it's not canon, but it would clear up A LOT of loose ends re: Dudley's Dementor memories, Petunia and Vernon's and magic hate/fear and why she was estranged from Lily.

I've come to a decision:

I WON'T BE READING MY FRIENDS PAGE FOR THE NEXT SIX DAYS.

Basically, I really could not handle it AT ALL if I were spoiled anymore. I've been obsessed with this series for over seven years now, and the idea of being spoiled a week before the FINAL book just really makes me recoil in horror. And while I trust the people on my flist, I just can't take the chance.

And of course there's the absolutely gut wrenching feeling I have whenever I read the bloody thing through my fingers, trying to keep my eyes out of focus. LMFAO.

I'll be checking lumos_lims, metamorfic_moon and hogwarts_elite, but that is it. If you have something happen in your life that is important, then leave me a comment about it here :)

I'll keep updating my personal journal :) I still have to post two theories and that picture of Narcissa... LOL. I'm doing some art you guys might be interested in as well :D

ALSO: I'm still looking for people to interview via Skype for my documentary before the book release. I'd actually prefer to do it during America's morning/afternoon, as Uni is starting back up this week *sigh*.

And if anyone else would like to help, I'd love some international coverage of the release; i.e. TV news reports, newspaper scans, etc. If you just tape your national news on Saturday (get your parents to do it or something if you're still reading, LOL) and that mornings, and the next mornings paper, that'd be SO MUCH HELP. British people, I'm looking at you (as we have the same region code for video)!! samuti and much_reality, you in particular. LMAO XDDDDD

Just a quick update to say that today is 07/07/07. And that they are showing Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on WIN (that's a TV channel. FTW indeed. LOL).

I've watched the interview with JKR on Johnathon Ross. "Fuckofiarmus". I like it. Icons anyone? LOL. I'm also surprised at how strange it is to know that "scar" isn't the last word anymore. It actually really... hurt somehow. I don't even know why. :| It's all very weird.

Oooooh... I went on an impromptu trip up Mt. Wellington!! And I met these two really cool families and we had snow fights. And then we stood by a fire and steam came off us. And there was a POSSUM. AND WE FED IT SNAKES. OH YES. AWESOME. As we were driving down the mountain in our three cars, I was strongly reminded of World of Warcraft. LOL. Like we were in a party or something :D Me = nerd.

I wish I'd had the chance to sit down and really go through the WOMBATs when they were up. I managed to get a few notes down, but not all of them. CURSE YOU, UNI, YOU BASTARD!! A lot of people complained about how hard some of it was, like the Ministers of Magic to go with their scandles. But, I really liked it! It was just logical thinking, I suppose. I had a few educated guesses... excuse me while I get my geek on :D

The circle will be complete in HPDH. :D


• The location and name of Hogwarts were both chosen by Rowena Ravenclaw, who dreamed that a warty hog was leading her to the cliff by the lake. - LOL. Goes with my theory of this happening. LMFAO. Scroll down to the bottom of the entry ;) :D DAMNIT, JKR, GET OUTTA MY LJ!! Or at least talk to me, LOL. XDDDDD


• The Sorting Hat of Hogwarts was stolen and substituted by a group of delinquent students in 1315. The whereabouts of the real hat remain unknown. - Again, highly unlikely. But again, interesting that this is a rumour.


• The world's largest Centre for Alchemical Studies in [sic] situated in Egypt - This is interesting, because it links to two of the other books. Alchemical Studies = Philosopher's Stone (PS/SS), and the Weasleys go to Egypt in PoA (and obviously Bill worked there for a while). Maybe we'll go there in HPDH?


• Inter-country Apparition has been outlawed due to extreme Splinching - it would explain why they're riding a dragon on the Dulux cover. MAYBE THEY'RE GOING TO EGYPT. LOL. And on that note, I've heard two theories where that particular dragon was either Draco or Remus (LOL... mrstater, you're so awesome) in animagus form. Hmm.

AAAAND, just two more things about the WOMBATs, I promise, LOL.

1. To become an Inferius, a person must havebeen murdered by dark magic - interesting, but most likely false.
2. Occlumency can guard against possession - VERY INTERESTING. VERY possibly true.
3. Dementors are unknown in tropical climates - Hmm. Yeah. I can see it. Especially if Sirius went to a tropical climate in GoF. Get away from them.
4. A curse is stronger than a hex, which is stronger than a jinx - I actually think THIS is the right one. Didn't JKR say that a jinx was comical in some way, a hex was slightly darker, and a curse was dark? So... that means that the others aren't right. Ah well. :)

We have two answers there that are ingredients in the potion, one that cures most poisons and one that cures most ailments. The trouble is, if you're practically dead, HOW are people going to get this stuff to you? Shove a bezoar down your dead throat? LOL. I went with Phoenix tears, b/c that'd mean that Fawkes would have to come back to cure Draco when Snape drops him off at the Order, after making the Death Eaters think he's dead. WHAT. IT COULD HAPPEN. XDDDDDD

Interestingly (to me) I decided that Draco had a hawthorn wand independently of the chart. So yes, it is hawthorn, and by a bizarre coincidence I assigned him that wood, as I assigned Harry holly, without realising it was the ‘right’ one. Spooky... but for various reasons hawthorn seems to suit Draco as holly suits Harry.

So. It's exactly one month until my 20th birthday *cough* same as Draco's *cough* LOL. Wow. It just seems like yesterday I was turning 15 and saying to my Dad about how "it'll only be 3 years until I can vote!" LOL. And this year I'll be finishing University. Time sure does fly. I GOT MY HUFFLEPUFF SCARF AND TIE!! WOOOOO!!! Heh. They're so effing cool. Cept, random people keep asking me if I go for RICHMOND!!! WTF!! Okay. So, something very interesting just happened. I just found out that Christina Aguilera will be doing a show in SYDNEY on JULY 24TH. And I am SERIOUSLY considering going. This would be 3 DAYS after the HPDH release. And there is this to consider:

DO I GO TO SYDNEY FOR THE HPDH RELEASE TO FILM?

There would be SO MUCH MORE going on. And SO MANY MORE PEOPLE to talk to. BUT, at the same time, do I WANT to have that many people? I wouldn't have my second camera (Joshie) to work w/ and it might not come out as good... Unless Josh wants to go!! :D LOL. Hmmmhmm... tickets go on sale on the 2nd of May, so I have until then to decide... I don't mind pre-ordering the book again in Sydney, LOL.

You know how I wasn't excited about the OotP movie? Still not excited. In fact, LESS excited than I was before. Not a lot of Draco?! NO LUPIN @ THE ADVANCE GUARD?! LUCIUS DROPPING THE PROPHECY?!!! WTFFFFFF?! Srsly. WTFFFFFFFF?!

Remus's birthday tomorrow :D YAY!!

My "GET TOGETHER THINGY" went VERY well (even if a meeting did make some of them LATE BEYOND ALL BELIEF, LOL). The highlight, I think was when Patrick told us the story of "Gaysus" the saviour of all gay people. With the fairy-godmother being Cher, and God being Whoopie Goldburg... LMFAO. I thought it was a joke, until ten minutes later at the end when there was no punch line... and we all wanted to bash him for taking so bloody long with a load of NOTHING. LOL. And the promise of a "house-warming GIFT" from Bennifer (with an extremely evil look in his eye) has me absolutely bloody petrified... XDDDD

And, HOGSMEADE weekend this weekend *dies* Guess who has to work EVERY NIGHT OF HOGSMEADE?! That would be me. And, I'm fairly sure I didn't Sort 15 people last session D: DAMN IT. So close to the end of term and I forget for the first time *is angry @ self* Gah. And I think I got my first speeding ticket today. Wonderful. I was coming out of a 40 school zone, and I sped up JUST before it actually finished... BASTARDS. D:<

He has this really pronounced stutter (like Quirrel, but without the dude sticking out the back of his head), and he has a Hawthorn Hawks (footie team) DOORBELL, which plays their theme song. LMFAO. And he's always talking to me about the football, and what's going on in the league, and who has the TV rights, and yadda yadda yadda... And he always orders a Super Supreme, a garlic bread and a 7up. SO. CUTE. :3

And just one more thing... HP related (you surprised? LOL)... Ollivander... two thoughts: JK keeps talking about his eyes, and how misty and silvery and stuff they are and how he doesn't blink, so I reckon they're important somehow (or, they're you know... just weird looking, LOL)... ANYWAY, I had two thoughts about this: 1) He's blind. And that would be OMG so cool :D Because he'd like, see your aura, and maybe it changes when you find the right wand for you or something... or... 2) He used Legilimency on Harry. Hmmmmmm... and why would he do that? To see Harry's past? Hmmmm... interesting thoughts though...
