SO. I am currently in my home town doing Professional Experience (PE) at a Primary (Elementary) School... and I'm kinda loving it more than a prospective High School teacher should, LOL. The kids are so cute and full of learning and "OMFG WOW"ness XDDDDD

As part of our assessment we have to write about our experiences and write reflectively, so I'm going to tell you about two things that happened today that probably don't interest anyone but me and my assessors when I get all my thoughts down :D

1. In maths today we were talking about fractions and where they fit on a number line between 0 and 1. They were great with 1/2, 1/4 and 3/4, but had a bit of trouble figuring out where 1/3 would be exactly in relation to the previous fractions. So we had a bit of a "think, pair, share" where they turned to their neighbour and thought about how they could figure it out. Here's what one pair said:

Boy 1: What about if we just put it half-way between 1/4 and 1/2? [a pretty reasonable guess, I thought]
Boy 2: Nah, because then that would be 3/8ths.

O___________________________________o DUDE. HOLY FUCK. LOL. That was my reaction to this. HAHA. There is NO WAY that kid should have known that. I just thought it was AWESOME that a kid could just be so casual about knowing something like that, LOL.

2. Miss Smith (not her real name, LOL) was reading a book aloud to the class (they're doing this for most of term, I think and then watching the film), and I, as usual was scribbling in my book while listening (a habit I picked up from lectures I think, LOL). A while later she came to talk to Kristen (the other Student Teacher) and I and she noticed my scribbling (it was of Draco's posture. Yes. I know. You're all so surprised. STFU. LOL) and showed it to the rest of the class 0.o

"Would you like Miss F to take you for an art lesson?"
"YES!!!!!!!!"

Here's me, TOTALLY embarrassed because, omfg, it's in PEN and scribbly and horrible and LAME and his head's on wrong and WTF WHY ARE YOU SHOWING THIS TO PEOPLE?! XDDDDDD And then Kristen saw that I was all, "NUUUUU WHUT ARE YOU DOING?!" and was like, "SHE HAS OTHER STUFF".

TRAITOR.

So I go and get my book and show the stuff that I do like (luckily I only had one naughty picture to skim over >.> LOL. Remind me not to draw FIVE slash while at school XDDDD), and I had basically the ENTIRE CLASS crowding around me going,

Me: This is Ron and Hemione
Them: FROM HARRY POTTER?!
Me: Yeah!
Them: OMG I LOVE HARRY POTTER!!
Me: And this is Katara and Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Them: OMG I LOVE AVATAR!!!
Them: MY BROTHER LOVES AVATAR!!
Them: AVATAR IS AWESOME!!
Me: And Helga and Arnold from Hey Arnold!.
Them: I USED TO WATCH THAT SHOW.

And then a little later Miss Smith saw my portrait of Tom that I'm working on, and her jaw dropped and she grabbed my book and showed it to the class, and they all went,

Students: WOW!!!!!!!
Boy: Who's that?
Miss Smith: Her boyfriend.
Kristen & I: HAHAHAHAHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAAA.

I LOLED. HAHA. Anyway. I was amused.

So I'm thinking maybe I should teach 5/6 just to boost my ego, LOL XDDDDDD But it's great, because now they're coming up and talking to me and showing me their art and looking at me like I'm all powerful or something, ahahaha :D

So yes. I had to write those down so I don't forget :D

Sorry I haven't been updating or replying to stuff - things are extremely hectic atm. Sigh. The Uni had my middle name down as my last name for enrolment, so I had to go in and get it changed today (which could take a couple of days) because I need to fill out my HECS stuff to defer my fees, and then I had to go to Service Tasmania to get a form that I had to fill out and take to the Police Station so they could do a police check on me so I could go into schools and teach and now I'm not sure that I'm going to get everything in on time before my prac and a;lsdkj;alkjdfa;kdsjf;laskdjf. I have maths in an hour... which I'm still not properly enrolled for either. SIGH. LOL XD

HOWEVER.

I am in Tom Felton OVERLOAD today. First... and I can't believe I'm saying this... I think I'm going to have to get fucking Twitter because Tom made one and he's SO CUTE HOMG. LOL XD

I WROTE MY FIRST E-MAIL TO PEREZ HILTON TODAY A;DLFJA;SLDKJF;ALSDJF LOLOOLOL. I FEEL SO CHEAP XDDDDD

BUT. It was for a good cause (the Avatar casting), so hopefully he posts it. I had the subject as something like, "Jesse McCartney cast as Japanese and Jackson Rathbone as Inuit?!" so it might pique some attention (I KNOW WHAT TRASHY WEBSITES WANT, OKAY??! XDDDDD).

Like I said to glockgal, I signed it, "Fumingly". I felt it was very Zukoesque. But I was POLITELY fuming, so it was a good mix :D

I've had Avatar on the brain so much, I actually drew Avatar art!! :O It's just a scribble, really, I may do something more with it, but here's season one Fail Face :D


I think it's quite good for not using a still reference or anything :D I kinda like drawing Avatar in my style... they mesh quite well!! :D I should study how they draw Avatar the next time I have an art blockage :D

Ahhhh, LOL. I've been full of so much hate and love these past couple of days. The hate is all towards the Avatar casting, the love has been from watching the TV series again *SIGH*, and also towards Star Wars and FIVE :33333333

Firstly, the Star Wars. I've been watching the new Clone Wars 3D animation TV series, and ZOMGGGGGGG I LOVE THE JEDI SO HARD SDLKJF:SLDF:LSDJF. Especially Kit Fisto and Luminara Unduli (and of course Obi-Wan, but he's not in it as much as I'd like). AND GRIEVOUS' BACK STORY STUFF *FLAIL* a;ldsjfa;lkdsjf;lafd :D WIIIIIIIIIIIIN. I just love it so hard :D Can't wait for more Obi-Wan XDDDD

And then, the FIVE. ZOMG. For those who don't know: I have just over 10 hours of FIVE songs ^^; And I think I've listened to all of it over the past couple of days. LOL @ me starting this entry before midnight so I can say...

IT'S ONE MONTH TILL MY 21st BIRTHDAY :3

LOLOLOLOLOL XD It's also one month until Draco turn... *counts*... 28!! :D Not that we have the same birthday or anything... >.> and not that I mention it AT ALL, LIKE, EVER. >.> XDDDDD BUT. It has relevance to the post (not Draco having the same birthday as me, MY birthday is the relevant thing), because...

I have DONE my half of the sorting tally, like, a couple of days ago, so that's out of the way for me once the other half is done by the lovely Jess, and to celebrate, I did a meme :D And in this meme, you have to draw yourself from when you were a teenager! :D AND I WAS A TEENAGER. And the age I turned in year 10 was 15 *is a youngin*, and it was just amusing to me that I did this while thinking about turning 21!!

So, no real relevance. Scrap that. I'm making shit up again.

I still can't really draw myself. It's so frustrating. LOL. XD ANYWAY.

I was the feaking dorkiest kid from about year 5-8, but by year 10, I was secure in myself as a person, and I liked who I was (I don't think I really did before that). ANYWAY. This is me at age 15 (I've been a year younger than most of my grade forever ^^; LOL).

And... I really haven't changed much, apart from getting wider and sillier. XDDDD The wider thing may have to do with the fact that I don't play school sport anymore, or do cross-country :( LOL. But I still enjoy watching it, haha XDDDD I played soccer for two years at high school and loved it so much. I was also and Aussie Sports Leader where we took Primary School kids for sport once a week after school (I got go meet the Hawks footie club! Yay! :D They signed the back of my jumper XD).

This was the height of my music as well. That year I won "Most Promising Under 16" for piano at the Eisteddfod XD I played 1st clarinet in the school concert band, and played baritone and tenor saxophone in the stage band, depending on which was needed more in the piece, LOL. This was the year after FIVE split, which I was devastated about, obviously, but I still was obsessed. Still am, obviously XDDDDDD

I had also been in love with Ewan McGregor for liiiiiike... five years already ^^; Ritchie waaaaaas... four years and Tom was a newish addition to the love - about a year, I think? ;) XD LOLOL. Wow, this was like six years ago, guys, how pathetic is that?! XDDDDD

I was also a Student Leader (Peer Support) and vice-captain of my house (Blythe - yellow, ironically. I was also in yellow in Primary School (Oakleigh)). :D

I ended up winning the Art prize at the end of the year, and was one A- off getting the English prize too... CURSE YOU, EDWARD. LMFAO XDDDD I was such a swot. I loved all my subjects XDDDDD

Oh, and hey, just in case you guys didn't get this, that is my school uniform... >.> LOL. ^^; It's not like I wore that for fashion or anything XD

ANYWAY. I really enjoyed year 10. The only year that's beaten it since was year 12. That was AWESOME. :D This was fun. I wanna see you guys do it too :D

ALSO. Random totally love to my parents tonight. Because I was going through old photos of me and them when I was a baby to find stuff from high school, and MAN, I have great parents. Seriously. I love them SO EFFING MUCH. <3 GAH. They should win awards or something. Srsly.

It reminded me that one day at the dinner table a couple of months ago, we had people around for my parent's 35th wedding anniversary, and one of my mum's friends, who she never sees, was staring at me, and turned to my mum and said, "she even has the same hand gestures as [my dad]" and mum nodded and went, "I know." (in an "I know, it's scary, right?" way) and I looked down at my hands, and at my dad's, and we were both doing this thing with our fingernails on the inside of our palms where you start at the base of your palm with your opposite finger nails, and trail them up to the tips of your fingers. HOW COOL IS IT, THAT I PICKED THAT UP SUBCONSCIOUSLY OVER ALMOST 21 YEARS AND NEVER KNEW?!?! XDDDDD

SO WEIRD. I was thinking about that while drawing this, and thinking about growing up and stuff, and MAN. 21 is like, a drip in time. And then I started thinking about that quote from Ten where he says, "Some people live more in twenty years than others do in eighty. It's not the time that matters, it's the person.". DUDE. How right is that?! I have so much more to do with my life, but I've DONE SO MUCH AS WELL. Argh. BIG RANDOM DEEP THOUGHTS APPROACHING 21, PEOPLE. LMFAO XDDDD

How elimination will work:
6. The two celebrities with the lowest number of public votes will then face the Judging Panel. The judging panel will take a vote on which of the competitors will participate in the next show and which will be eliminated from the competiton.

This is good. I mean, even if Ritchie is one of the bottom two, he ALWAYS puts in 100%, so it's doubtful that the judges would eliminate him :D

So! Today was AWESOME. I met 6kittykat6 in town and we went to Ellison Hawker and Area 52 (geek shop), and I bought the next Dalziel and Pascoe book. We wandered around the mall, looking at CDs and such before getting something to drink and heading to the cinema to see (as I previously mentioned) Superbad. Twas AWESOME. I was laughing hysterically and trying to hide under the chair with embarrassment ALL AT THE SAME TIME. XDDD Then we got some dinner and I dropped her back home. FUN WAS HAD BY ALL BOTH. XDDD

My house inspection yesterday went very well, and the guy said that there's no problem on extending my lease by 6 months, so that's AWESOME. :D I have somewhere to live!!

Okay, so this guy from an Australian Football Club (West Coast Eagles) died recently, and his last name is Mainwaring, and apparently he pronounced his name the way it's spelt: main-WEAR-ing, but see, I would pronounce this name the way they do on Dad's Army for Captain Mainwaring: MAN-er-ing. It's so freaking and strange hearing it the other way.

Five split up. Again.

Well, I am now officially back in Hobart. Flight back was in NO WAY as good as the one there (though I don't think it could have POSSIBLY been better. Maybe if Ewan McGregor had come up to me and said "ILU make movies and babies w/ me"... ANYWAY... moving along... LOL.) Back home, back to work, back to Uni, *le sigh* 9am starts should be banned or something.

I don't wanna jinx it or anything, but I've been asked to arrange an interview w/ the manager of my local Video City (and me moving into this apartment had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do w/ the fact that the biggest Video City in the state was a 5 minute walk away AT ALL... LOL), in regards to a casual job. This would be like, THE ULTIMATE job for me. I know all the girls there already (and there's this dude who looks like Elijah Wood, NO FREAKING JOKE), to the point of them saying to me "I'm not supposed to tell you this, but the manager was looking to get in contact w/ you" and telling me when the girl from Head Office will be in, LMFAO. I love these guys. :D

I met up w/ the supremely awesome mybabyangel and natatree yesterday, and they both totally rocked my socks. :D We talked about awesome things like Harry Potter, Five (still can't believe that mybabyangel just HAPPENED to not only be a Five fan, but a RITCHIE fan... ZOMG, LOL), ear candles (we're still as WTF?! as you are... LOL), and Calvin and Hobbes. I think my best quote of the day was,

(It's the port where the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge are). But it was all okay. THERE IS GOING TO BE A MOVIE OF GET SMART!! OMG. <3333 LOL. USA Today posted a picture of Anne Hathaway and Steve Carell in the main roles. AWESOME. I didn't like Steve Carell much until I saw Little Miss Sunshine. That was such a freaking BRILLIANT movie, and he was fantastic. BRING ON THE SMRT!! :D

And Just Jared is reporting that Orlando Bloom was seen discussing a part in the new Superman movie. 0.o Can I be the first one to say, 'BZUH?!' I just tried it last week because I am naturally an alto/tenor and it was SOOO FREAKING EASY AND AWESOME. And our singing instructor was like "And the tenors have to sing an F which is very high..." (singing that at the F note btw), and I was like "LAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!" and awesome because I can sing that EASY. We haven't sung a very low song yet, but pfft. I cover Josh in the high register, he covers me in the lower one if I need it. Totes awesome. :D YAY SINGING!! Plus, all the guys (tenors) are AWESOME and all the girls (altos) are snobbish and try to steal your music so you can't read it (GET GLASSES, WOMAN!!). LOL.

My computer has had an... INTERESTING couple of days. I have a Powerbook G4 Macintosh Laptop, and my Microsoft Office stuff wouldn't open. So, I took it into the Mac store, and spent 1 1/2 hours trying different things. We reinstalled the package, sent in a repair thing to repair everything that had ever gone wrong ever on my computer, and none of that worked. They sent me home with an overhaul of the entire SYSTEM, and it FINALLY WORKED. OMG. So, now I have the latest version of Mac OS X :D YAY!! I have WIDGETS ZOMG. SO AWESOME. So, there you go. You want a free upgrade? CRASH YOUR OFFICE XDDD I have also ordered in Cinema 4D for my 3D Modeling and Animation class :D YAY!! NEW SOFTWARE!!

I thought it was a joke, until ten minutes later at the end when there was no punch line... and we all wanted to bash him for taking so bloody long with a load of NOTHING. LOL. And the promise of a "house-warming GIFT" from Bennifer (with an extremely evil look in his eye) has me absolutely bloody petrified... XDDDD

And, HOGSMEADE weekend this weekend *dies* Guess who has to work EVERY NIGHT OF HOGSMEADE?! That would be me. And, I'm fairly sure I didn't Sort 15 people last session D: DAMN IT. So close to the end of term and I forget for the first time *is angry @ self* Gah. And I think I got my first speeding ticket today. Wonderful. Okay. So, this is my first portrait done on the computer. :D Well, I mean, ACTUALLY, it's my second one, but I never finished the other one, so this is my first COMPLETE portrait done on the computer. LOL :D

I've been working on this for... I dunno... the past week or so? I finally finished it tonight. Hopefully, you know it's JKR. One of my ULTIMATE HEROES.

I only had up to her right cheek in the scan, so I had to guess the hair and stuff over that side... LOL. XDDD And her hair is a but meh in places... but STUFF IT. I lover her, BUT I'M SICK OF THIS PICTURE. LMFAO XDDD

Quite happy with this, though. OMG. UNDO BUTTON ON PORTRAITS *dies* LOL. :D

Fifth: I went to see Borat today with my Mum, Dad and family friend, Rowie. IT IS HYSTERICAL. GO SEE IT. CHANGE YOUR LIFE. LOL. It takes a lot to get red-necks at a rodeo uncertain about the War in Iraq... but he does it. LMFAO. So. When's the movie coming about about his other character? The fashion guy? Can't wait. :D

A few things to talk about tonight:

First: The US Bans Vegemite - WHUT. THE. FUCK. Australians are being searched as they come into the country for VEGEMITE. Let me say that again. SEARCHED for VEGEMITE. A FUCKING SPREAD. YOU. TOOLS.

Second: I feel sorry for food. There. I've said it. I was out having dinner at an Indian restaurant with my Life Drawing class, and I ordered Malai Kofta, which is basically cheese and potato balls in a thick tomato curry thingy. And there were four balls, and I couldn't eat the last one. Seriously, it was just like *is sick* LOL. But I felt SO SORRY for it. Because, I mean, IT hasn't let me down, it's tasty and awesome, but it was ME who FAILED to eat it. And it would go to waste, and it would feel bad because it might think it wasn't good enough. 0.o SERIOUSLY. WHUT?! LOL. So I managed to eat half, and gave the other half to Josh, who only ate it AFTER I told him this insane feeling that I had towards it. 0.o LOLZ. *hearts Joshie*

Third: Because I am a sheep, and almost everyone I know has done this by now

Fourth: I think I may have found the place I want to live for the next year. Scary. :D I'm going to go and inspect it tomorrow with my Dad (who happens to be down here, YAY!!) and Josh. I'm going to be living alone for the next year, which I am really looking forward to. At the moment, I'm living in a residential college (kinda like a dorm), but I don't share a room or anything. I'm so looking forward to having my own place, where I can COOK GOOD FOOD. LOL.

How do other people feel about living by yourself? Yes? No? I'm an only child, so I think it might be a bit different for me. I quite like my own company, and am quite happy to go for days without seeing anyone. LOL. As long as I have my sketch book, DVD, books and computer, I'm set. XDDD

Fifth: You know what I love about Ritchie? He wears these V necked shirts, so I can see all of his neck *drools over neck*. And, you can see the part of his neck that I always want to seriously just LICK.


Question: How do you pronounce MEME. Is it as in the name, Mimi? or Mem?
