Got annoyed today with some friends. Wanted to shake them and say, "DID YOU EVER THINK THAT YOU'RE PART OF THE PROBLEM?! IF YOU DON'T LIKE SOMETHING, THEN FUCKING DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, STOP PLAYING THE VICTIM AND HELP!!!!!!!!" Ugh. Of course I didn't because I hate that sort of confrontation and wank is something I avoid like the plague, LOL. But eh. I'm annoyed by it. I think it's my mother's voice in my head, LOL. On the bright side today, Jo and I went to see A Film With Me In It at the State Cinema, and it was AWSUMMMMM :D Sooooooo dark. LOL. If you take Blackadder and make it 100 times darker, it's ALMOST there XDDDDDD LOVES!!

And I'm hosting a Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Slytherin at H_E which has been fun so far! Damn those Chasers are quick!! :D Put the post up last night and was working on the comments for people to enter under, only to get to Ravenclaw (having done Gryffindor and Hufflepuff) and realise ONLY SLYTHERIN AND GRYFFINDOR ENTER THE STUPID THING *HEADDESKS* LOL XDDDDD Phail, Rotae, phail. Clearly I do not think well late at night, LOL.

Also, Happy Star Wars Day!! May the 4th [May the Fouth be with you, LOLOLOLOL SEE?!]. I might even upload a Star Wars pic I did a few months ago if the mood strikes me :D

Oh man. buttfacemakani has got me addicted to WoW again *headdesks* LOLOLOL. I was meant to be the one getting HER addicted, but she did it to me as well, LOLOL. Jo and I went and saw Slumdog Millionaire tonight, which was very enjoyable :D I knew four of the answers to the questions though, LOLOL XDDDDD One I knew through Venture Bros., and another through Supernatural ^^; One was literature and the last one I knew from my love of Cricket :D

Anyway, great music, and a good film, but The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was better. I find Danny Boyle to be an overrated director if I'm perfectly honest. The only film I've LOVED of his was Trainspotting. Even my Ewan love couldn't save Shallow Grave from being strange and not very entertaining, LOL. Admittedly I haven't seen either of the 28 Days/Weeks films, so eh.

Did anyone else do a double take when they saw Christian Coulson was a Producer? LOLOL. Not the same guy unfortunately, but LOL @ me anyway XDDD

I went around to Tom, Erika and Brodie's yesterday for a BBQ/Art jam, and took a flying leap in drawing with coloured markers :3 So here's my little go at Teddy with them (it's not very good but eh, it was my first time XD)

Sooo... I'm gonna be the odd one out here and say... I kinda like the new LJ profiles ^^; LOL XDDDD IKR?! WTF. I mean, they're going to take some getting used to, but I like them :3

AND ON THAT NOTE. I think it's time for a clean-up of my LJ!! Woo!! Starting with a very important thing... THE COLOURS ON MY FLIST. OH YES. You guys mightn't know this, but about 60% of you guys are actually colour coded when I look at my flist :3 Mostly it's by H_E house and a couple of other categories, but I got fed up with it after a few hours of it. And then found out that I had arasan down as a Gryffindor and DIDN'T REALISE until I MET HER in Texas and found out she was a Claw *headdesks* LOL XD

YAY!! Another Teddy :D

So, as you know, I'm staying at buttfacemakani's place, and she's been helping me conquer my fear apathy towards colouring XDDDD This lead to the phrase:

EVERYTHING I KNOW IS WRONG!!

And it has become something of a legend between the two of us. LOL XD I'll probably draw that comic later XD

ANYWAY. I don't think this is too bad for my first serious attempt at colouring backwards XDDDD No, seriously, it's all back-to-front!! D: You go dark and then get light 0_o As a portrait artist who works on white paper... WHUT?! XDDDDD So yes. Heather has been invaluable :D

So, this is from fernwithy's fan fiction; Teddy Lupin and the Daedalus Maze, which you should all go and stalk because it's brilliant :D Here's the exerpt;

In front of him was a boy of fifteen with the high cheekbones and gray eyes of the Black family and his father's wavy, light brown hair, coming to a familiar widow's peak on the left side before falling down into his fringe. Aside from the waves, which he apparently morphed out subconsciously most of the time, there was nothing surprising about that; he'd just been the one to tell Donzo that he did have a true shape, after all.

What stopped Teddy was the burning room behind him--the charred, smoke-filled parlor of the Shrieking Shack. He could see the curtains blowing out through shattered windows, and there was an unidentifiable lump on the floor that Teddy knew nonetheless. It was Fenrir Greyback. Teddy's image stood in the middle of this carnage with blood dripping from its hands.

YAY!! :D I hadn't drawn Teddy in yonks, and then I go to Portus and can't stop LOL XDDD People were REQUESTING that I draw him and it were awesome :D

SO. Portus was possibly the most awesome thing in the history of everything XD It was so brilliant to be around people who got my HP jokes XDDDD Like, there were these two people who were dressed up as a Gryffindor and Slytherin who we were talking to, and we commented on House Unity, and they said, "Oh yeah, it's all about the harmony", and I said, "Except I think you have the wrong ship there", and everyone cracked up, and I was amazed, because I wasn't alone in my geekiness. It was then I knew that Portus was gonna be awesome XDDDD

We made up dance moves for all of the HP characters, which I'm going to have to put on YouTube or something... This is the Barty Crouch Jnr.:

Suffice to say that the card with the photoshopped image of Ben Barnes' head, with my Teddy's hair, put onto a muscley man who was half naked and pouring a drink, shall never come down from my mantelpiece EVER XDDDD (I'd be rambling to him lately that Prince Caspian's face was probably the closest, structurally, to my version of Teddy's that I'd seen to date. He has my Teddy's nose, and mouth, and almost his eyes too. Cut his hair a little though XD Gosh, you know Josh is so good sometimes. He listens to me ramble a lot more than most people let me XDDDDD AND. He actually listens and doesn't smile and nod *random love to Joshie* XDDDD)

ANYWAY. Back to the party. My Dad made a speech that made me wibble, and then I had to get up and make one and burst into tears, LOLOL XDDD My Mum had to come over to me and hug me as I finished, and we were both crying, LOL. I ARE SAPPY ROTAE XDDD

How elimination will work:
6. The two celebrities with the lowest number of public votes will then face the Judging Panel. The judging panel will take a vote on which of the competitors will participate in the next show and which will be eliminated from the competiton.

This is good. I mean, even if Ritchie is one of the bottom two, he ALWAYS puts in 100%, so it's doubtful that the judges would eliminate him :D
ANYWAY. It starts at 7:30pm on Sunday 7th of October, and I am DEADLY SERIOUS about paying someone to tape it for me. Really. I would be in your debt for AGES. Ritchie doing acrobatic things wearing THAT?! OH FUCKING HELL YEAH.

So! Today was AWESOME. I met 6kittykat6 in town and we went to Ellison Hawker and Area 52 (geek shop), and I bought the next Dalziel and Pascoe book. We wandered around the mall, looking at CDs and such before getting something to drink and heading to the cinema to see (as I previously mentioned) Superbad. Twas AWESOME. I was laughing hysterically and trying to hide under the chair with embarrassment ALL AT THE SAME TIME. XDDD Then we got some dinner and I dropped her back home. FUN WAS HAD BY ALL BOTH. XDDD

My house inspection yesterday went very well, and the guy said that there's no problem on extending my lease by 6 months, so that's AWESOME. :D I have somewhere to live!!

Btw, since my apartment is SUPER CLEAN atm, anyone have any photo requests? Wanna see my DVD collection? My HUGE posters? My fridge? View? Assorted beauty products? LMAO XDDD Request a photo and I'll post it :D

Okay, so this guy from an Australian Football Club (West Coast Eagles) died recently, and his last name is Mainwaring, and apparently he pronounced his name the way it's spelt: main-WEAR-ing, but see, I would pronounce this name the way they do on Dad's Army for Captain Mainwaring: MAN-er-ing. It's so freaking and strange hearing it the other way.

This week is my week to try and get back into lumos_lims, but the prompt is the American HP covers 0.o DAMNIT. I KNEW I should have been American... LOL. Maybe then I'd have an idea of what the hell to do with it, having seen them so much. GAH. CHALLENGING.

Also, apparently I'm tied for first place in the venture_rumble contest 0.o I guess I'd better actually... you know, not do it 10 mins before it's due this final round, eh? LOL. XDDDD Although, I seem to do better when I don't put that much effort in for some reason 0.o I guess with cartoons like VB, it's comedy and not using things like levels and selective colouring that matter. Damnit, she's got me COMPLETELY hooked on this pairing because she makes it seem so darn believable! I know, I know, HOW is this pairing believable? So, I drew Teddy/Hermione for her and she's going to write some more Scorpius/Rose for me! She's already done an interlude with them at Hogwarts (and she and I both think that they're BFFs and in Ravenclaw, so it's TOTALLY AWESOME :D) and that was so brilliant I definitely want to see lots more of them *hints to the flist* XDDDD LOL.

Teddy in her fics seems to have green hair when he's being, uh, sexual. So I gave him green/brown hair because I can't draw Teddy without a bit of brown ;) :D And how naked is he? Well... that's up to you XDDD

Maybe this is the extremely mild lead up to writing Draco/Victoria? XDDDD

So yes. Not really much to update on... Oh! Except to say the Myer building in Hobart went up in flames about a week ago (it was, like, a heritage listed building) and was apparently $40 million... eeesh. This was literally four days after the hedge opposite my apartment went up 0.o Not deliberately lit unlike the hedge though, apparently. Still. The police are still directing traffic and that entire stretch of road is closed off. BUT. The Macintosh store is okay. You can all calm down. XDDDD Also Area 52 (the geek shop) appears to be okay as well, even though it doesn't have electricity atm.

Okay! So, reading like a book, we have;

Row 1: Victoria Malfoy, Scorpius Malfoy and Al Potter. I just had the one picture of Victoria, so I decided to draw her front on... And I somehow managed to make Scorpius look 17, and Al about 12, ^^; LOL. Apparently something is very funny. :D

Row 2: chen_san's original X-MEN character (Oceane), Andromeda Tonks and Teddy Lupin (for fernwithy). I'll end up finishing both of these, I think, yay!! :D

Row 3: Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. Some of you guys would have seen my Harry over on dA, and here's Ron as well.

Row 4: Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy, pretty self explanatory... I REALLY like these four sketches, but I just can't seem to colour them no matter how hard I try. :( Stupid colour... *grumbles* LOL

Something random I noticed yesterday; you know how when you get your left and right mixed up, and you say "the OTHER left"... I don't think I've EVER heard anyone say "the other RIGHT". 0.o

I am so fangirling Kevin Rudd (leader of the Opposition) atm. Srsly. Not only did he speak FLUENT MANDARIN to the Chinese President Hu Jintao (and was complimented by him on his PERFECT Mandarin and invited (and possibly not our Prime Minister) to the OLYMPICS, AHAHAHA), he had a 10 minute meeting with George Dubbya that ended up lasting 45 minutes. In which he stood his ground and FIRMLY said that when if he is elected at the end of the year, Australian troops will be out of Iraq by June next year (however, we're in Afghanistan for the long haul as we SHOULD have been THERE in the first place, unlike Iraq).

*fangirls* I mean, I don't agree with him on a lot of things on a personal level, but his party policies (cept Forestry in Tasmania, but seeing as what happened last time, I don't blame him), and his strength is totally making me go weak at the knees.

I'm currently working on Scorpius/Rose art. YAY!! Among ten billion other things, LOL. I have a few things to reply to but it's like four in the morning and I'm going to write this blog and then head to bed.

First off; Luna would totally call her kid Xena. It's the perfect cross between Xenophilius and Luna... plus, like... Xena?!?! Hello?!?!! LOL.

I've been told I look like Victoire, Tonks, Susan Bones, Lavender Brown, Hannah Abbott, Millicent Bulstrode and Remus and Tonks' second child over at H_E. I have come to the conclusion that they have no idea who I look like. LMFAO. Most of the votes were for Victoire or Tonks though. Life is so hard. I either end up with Teddy or Remus. Damn. *sigh* LOL. And mybabyangel said something to me that kinda freaked me out/excited me so much. Teddy/Me/Remus. Oh yes. It's Lupincest (but like... not with them together... with ME. This is MOST important). It's "I Can't Believe it's Not Lupincest" XDDDDDDDDDDDD LOL. I can drawz pr0nz? HAHAHAHA. *dies giggling*

I'm also going away for the weekend down to Peppermint Bay with my family for my Aunt's 50th birthday. So I'll be incommunicado between Saturday and Monday probably. I mean, YAY PEPPERMINT BAY/FAMILY!! But BOO NO INTERNETZ. LOL. LOTS of drawing time :3

And speaking of family and life I just wanted to get the following off my chest as something for me to look back on in a few years and see if I've changed;

Do you know what? I am so thankful for my life. Seriously. I am so lucky to have all that I have. I have an amazing family, I have very good health (I've never had a headache and generally get a cold once a year, if that), I have hundreds of WONDERFUL friends both IRL and on the internet, I enjoy my Uni work, I really love my obsessions and find joy in them everyday, I'm well off financially, I have hobbies that totally rock... and I just love my life.

And do you know what? I like me. LOL. I know that sounds strange... but I don't feel I need another person to complete me... and I never have. If I never get married or find someone I want to be romantically attached to the rest of my life... I'm actually really okay with that. I like my own company, and can be by myself for days and not really be phased by it.

My parents have been married for almost 35 years (they were married when they were 21 and 20, which is the age I am now)... but I don't mind if I never find someone to be with like that. I mean, sure, if it happens then YAY! But... I won't feel my life has been lessened if I don't. And I don't mind that it happens at the age of 76 if that's when it happens.

As for kids? I have to say that I personally don't wanna give birth. LOL. Maybe I'll feel differently later on, but at this point in time... OW. Seriously! LOL. And I'd love a kid I adopted, or my partner's kid, just as much as I would one who carried my DNA. There are so many children already out there who could use a good home. That's right. I'm going all Angelina on your arse. LOL. Oh, and also, if I want a kid at the age of 38, and I don't have a partner... then I'll adopt one myself. I feel it's something I could definitely do on my own.

[EDIT: I just randomly woke up and feel I forgot this. And, if I fall in love with a woman, btw, I'd be okay with that too. I can't say women are my taste at this point in my life, but if I fell in love with a woman, I wouldn't feel uncomfortable/shocked/horrified/have a problem with it. I believe that love crosses all kinds of boundaries, which just become unimportant in the face of its power.]

I don't think I could honestly, at this point in time, write a blog entry that is down. Unless someone I'm really close to dies... I'm generally okay with whatever life flings at me (not that it's flung much ever, really). And I am so thankful for it. I'm so happy with my life, I feel kinda bad about it. LOL. XDDDD I wish I could share the happiness sometimes, ya know? Make my world a little less good and fling some happiness someone else's way who really needs it.

I have a family whom I love to absolute bits (my parents are THE MOST wonderful people I know), and friends likewise... I have good health, no huge troubles in my life (apart from trying to keep my pot plant (Ian Zacharius) alive, which is a CONSTANT struggle, LOL), and I'm totally optimistic about where my life is heading.

I'm strong, opinionated, argumentative, obsessive, enthusiastic, slightly insane, hyperactive, intelligent, fuzzy, artistic, musical, stubborn, accepting, a Jedi, chocoholic, spaz, loving and I am happy.

This is me. Watch me soar. :D

ANYWAY. This is Teddy in his 7th year. I'm still not sure about his house. I think that JKR would make him a Gryffindor... but... he just looks so good in yellow... >.> LOL.

The whole "windswept" thing... one of my favourite quotes of all time is from "My Family and Other Animals", which is a TV movie based on the book of the same name by Gerald Durrell. And the girl of the family comes back from lying in the sun for half the day, with her hair all tangled, and her pasty British skin is all burned, and her mother is putting cream on her burns and the conversation goes like this:

Daughter: Do I look... windswept... and interesting?
Mother: ... No, dear.

XDDDDD LMFAO. It was all I had going through my head while drawing this. XDDD

Ah man... I started drawing this on Friday and just had to finish it (despite the extremely long queue of things to be finished, lol).

After reading DH, I came to a shocking conclusion; I no longer want Pansy and Draco to be married in canon. :O I know. OMG, right? I'm just as shocked as you are. I'll try and explain...

Basically, in canon, I don't think that Pansy would ever truly be able to understand Draco anymore... why he did the things he did, and why he thinks the way that he does. I still ship them before DH though. I reckon she tried really hard to understand, but I don't think she ever could.

What I want Draco to do after DH is basically travel the world for a while. Really have a chance to recover, and reassess things. I want him to meet "his wife" in Greece. I know. It's so random. But I can just image in it in fan fiction form, LOL. She's not actually Greek (though her grandfather was). She's there on holiday with some friends, and they meet after a while.

I really wanted a character who he could start afresh with, ya know? Someone who he could, over time, really open up to, and someone who understood him, and accepted and loved him.

I imagine that she was at least six or seven years ahead of Draco at Hogwarts (and was a Hufflepuff, ooooooh the IRONY, LOL), but wasn't in England during the time of the war (she and her parents went abroad a few years previous to the uprising).

Since I'm a Rosie/Scorpius shipper (that is TOTALLY canon btw, LOL), I'll say that I reckon she'd get on really well with Hermione (much to the distaste of their husbands, LOL). And I reckon she'd get on REALLY well with Narcissa. :3 I want her to be just a super nice person :D

And despite knowing all about her... I have no idea what to name her. I'm thinking something Greekish... maybe Greek mythologyish... or Charlotte. LMFAO. TOTALLY a Greek name is Charlotte. XDDD I think that's just because she reminds me of Charlotte from Sex in the City though, LOL. SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME.

ANYWAY. About the actual PICTURE. LOL. Oh... I should mention that this is Mrs. Draco Malfoy, Scorpius Malfoy and Draco Malfoy... though I guess you could probably tell that after my ramble, right? And, like... the title... ^^; haha.

Draco is wearing an Appleby Arrows Quidditch jumper. amberpalette asked what I thought Draco might do for a living after the war, and my knee jerk reaction was "be like Paris Hilton" a.k.a nothing, but be rich. LOL. But I had a think about it, and I'd kinda like to see Draco play Quidditch when he returns to England (after meeting and forming a relationship with the, as previously mentioned, unnamed Mrs Draco Malfoy, lol). I mean, he IS a good Quidditch player... he only ever lost to Harry so far as we're told, and Harry could DEFINITELY have played for England, let alone just A Quidditch Club. And it just must have been SO HARD for Draco to give it up in HBP, that I think he deserves to do something he actually really enjoys. :) Oh, and I think he should be a Chaser.

I have no idea what Scorpius is pointing at, LOL. I imagine him to be the happiest child you've ever met. :D Just coz. And I love his little outfit. Awwwww... *pinches cheek*

And I am in love with Mrs Malfoy's coat. Oh yes. I wants it. It's based on one from a 1957 Harper's Bazaar magazine. Yes, I know, I'm a fashion freak. :D

So... all of this came about because buttfacemakani and I had a devastatingly long Skype chat just basically about the Malfoys, and where we saw them going and what we thought of them in DH and stuff. I made Mrs Malfoy's hair dark brown/black because she was adamant that Scorpius should have black hair until she realised he was meant to be the spit of Draco, LOL, and we spent a very long time debating about her hair colour of all things, LOL.

We also have cooked up a daughter for them because Lucius's reaction to a girl would be HILLARIOUS. LOL. XDDDD Something along the lines of "What is it?" I think... haha!! But I don't think I'll ever draw them with a daughter (unless I decide to draw the Lucius comic I came up with to go with it...).

Oh, and Heather said that she thought Draco's hair loss may have been more to do with the war more than anything... and it'd be hot, like Jude Law's hair loss. Yes. I do actually have a quote with her saying Draco would be hot. I know. The sky has fallen.
