DRIVE BY UPDATE :D

1. I was looking around for inspiration for the fan art contest at hogwarts_elite, and ended up watching about an hour of Eddie Izzard on YouTube *headdesks* LOLOLOL. I especially identify with this one as I play the clarinet (and piano, LOL, poor Eddie) :D

2. I'm back in Hobart, and there were SO MANY CARDS WAITING FOR ME HOMG. I shall update properly with thank yous later :D

3. I don't understand people who fav basically your whole gallery on dA, and then don't watch you. It's just... WHUT. SRSLY.

I'm about to head off to bed, but I wanted to just update quickly with a couple of things :D

First, homg you guys, the response to my last post was EPIC, LOLOL. I'm so glad all y'all like my new haircut! It was quite a big step for me and I feel good for it. I'm not a particularly brave person, so I take my small victories where I can, and this was definitely one of them :D YAY OVERCOMING FEAR!! :D

And second, I actually submitted this to dA like a week ago and forgot to add it here ^^; LOL.

Whaddya think? I've been dancing around a fringe for about a year now, and I finally got some shortness at the front in June, and got a little more chopped off just over a month ago. But over the last two weeks or so, I've been thinking about it more and more, and jehnt took the plunge yesterday and chopped almost ALL of her hair off, so I took a leaf from her book and just went for it, LOL.

I went in to get my shoes exchanged (which went very well, they happened to have a pair on display in my size in store), and I just went two doors down and said, give me your next available appointment and I got it done an hour later :D

I dunno how I feel about it yet... Megan (my hairdresser) said to wait a week and wait for it to settle, and if it's too long or anything, she'll give me a trim free of charge :D YAY!! And it only cost me $15! Woohoo! :D

I kinda like it! I think it's going to take a bit of getting used to, but I'm quite happy with it! <3

Speaking of hair btw... FENRIR IS FUCKING HORRIFIC!! DDDDDDDDDDDD: No wonder Draco was frightened of him!

And on hair again... Narcissa officially has brown hair on blonde. She's a skunk. Other than that she looks old okay. XDDDD I like her make-up and costume design :3

So last night I had a dream that buttfacemakani and I went to a theme park in Australia that doesn't exist, and we met Barack and Michelle Obama, the former of whom had bleach blond hair 0_____o Ooookay... >.> LOL.

Also, sometimes I forget to wake up. You know that part when you're sleeping, and you can kinda control your dreams just before you wake up? Sometimes I let my mind just kinda run with it, and I'll KNOW that it must be time for me to get up, but I kinda forget that I need to. 0.o I'm so weird, LOL.

Also, I'm thinking of moving to Melbourne... that's... kinda scary. Racheal, Buffy and Kate are all moving back to my hometown, Mel, Joy, Haylee and my parents and aunt and cousin are already there... Josh is going home to the US... I mean, there's actually a part of my mind that is saying, "You should go back home and get a crappy job - at least you'll be around your friends", but another part of me is yelling, "WHY ARE YOU GIVING UP?! THIS IS A STEP BACKWARDS!"

Of course, this would mean moving which I would HATE. UGH. Srsly. And it'd mean probably living with someone else to afford the rent there... and being in Melbourne: a city that I don't particularly know or love. I suppose I could move to Sydney, where the rest of my family is... but it's even MORE expensive there...

I'm thinking that I'll give myself to the New Year. If I haven't found a job that I love in Hobart... I'll move.

Wow. Big decision there! LOL. talumin and amathela!! You guys be happy to show me around? LOL :D

Also, I've decided that the next time I get a haircut, I'm getting a proper fringe :D WHOA. So many decisions!! :D

I'm feeling positive. GOOD VIBES, PEOPLE. I give credit to the good vibes and the Farmer's Union Iced Coffee, oh yes.

Last night (the night before? LOL) Josh, Jo, Racheal and I went to the Doctor Who night over at Rosny ABC shop :D Josh dressed up as Nine (Christopher Eccleston), Jo as Ten (David Tennant) and they both really looked like the guys they were going as, LOL (Jo is THINNER than David Tennant, SRSLY. He was SWIMMING in his Ten jacket, LOLOL XDDDD), and Racheal and I looked awesome as Donna (Rach dyed her hair red :3) and Rose (bleh. I hate Rose. LOL. CURSE HER FOR BEING THE ONLY BLONDE!! XDDD I had to be all chavtastic and lame LOL XD).

ANYWAY. They FINALLY launched the Season 3 products and I bought a Martha figurine :D Coz she's AWESOME and the only Doctor one they had was him in the red spacesuit from "42" :( There were people there buying one of EVERYTHING though, spending like HUNDREDS on stuff 0.o Makes my $20 extravagance seem quite small, y/y? XDDD

Hmm. That's all to report, I think :D

I had a REALLY interesting discussion with the girl who was washing my hair as well! Her father is Palestinian, and so she spoke some Arabic, and we were talking about the complexities of languages :D Also about ancient Egypt and policing in the eastern world!! Wow! Not your regular hairdressing conversation, haha!! XD OH. And we LOLed over British comedy, and discussed favourite ABC and SBS shows :D Lovely girl!

I didn't get an especially good response to the Venture Bros style, so I'm a bit ehhhh about it. I'm still gonna do it, but I'm not sure if I'll post it, LOL. :D

And, just before I go to bed... this meme always got me REALLY paranoid when people on my flist did it... SO NOW I'M DOING IT TO YOU!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAAAA! :D

I recently bought Venture Bros. Series 1 and 2... and I'm totally obsessed. I mean, I was before, but srsly. I LOVE IT SO MUCH ZOMG.

So, I have a couple of VB things to draw... but I thought I'd start out with this. Rose and Scorpius in the style of Venture Bros. Harder than it looks, LOL.

I'll get better if I practise :D I'll probably do a few ACTUAL VB characters (my favs are Dean, 21, Brock, The Monarch and Dr. O, who are yours? :D), and then I have another VB/HP crossover crack!art picture to draw as well :D

Anyway. Yes. <3 LOL. ALSO. I've totally named this ship. Scorrow :D As in Scor[pius]Ro[se]W[easley] :D + a play on the word sorrow, which goes with "Parting is such sweet sorrow", which is from Romeo and Juliet, which is about two families that feud whose children fall in love and die. OH YES. IT FITS SO PERFECTLY. SPREAD THE WORD. THIS IS WHAT IT'S CALLED NOW... BECAUSE I SAY SO XD

And just on a final note about the art... to the BASTARD who rated it a 2 on TLC Fan-Art... FUCK YOU. SRSLY. It's AT LEAST a 3!! XDDDD That's like, a freaking D in art, dude. I HATE YOU. GO JUMP. The votes are stuck atm so you can only rate it once, lol.

UGH. I am so effing tired right now. Srsly. I think I might just go to bed (it's about half past nine, LOL). I've had no weekend, because I've spent the last two days cleaning my sodding apartment for an inspection at 1pm tomorrow D: I want to renew my lease, and asked them last Monday about it, I hadn't heard from them by Friday, so I rang them, and the woman was like, "Okay, the owner wants to come and inspect on Monday, whether you're there or not" and I was like ZOMGBZUH?! D: Usually they give a weeks notice :( Not happy. ANYWAY. I've been cleaning. And am stuffed. And had no weekend. Gah.

HOWEVER. My apartment is now really spick and span, so if you wanna see photos of things (including new bedding y/y?) lemme know and I shall show you tomorrow :D

ANYWAY. Before I go to bed (as I am trying to post every day this month), I need to talk about a VRY SRS ISSHU.

I'm getting my hair cut on the 19th, aaaaaand... I'm thinking about getting a fringe D: ZOMG!! YES. This is a VERY big deal for me. LOL. I've basically had the same haircut for about... hmm... five years now. Different colours, and stuff, but the same cut. And even before that, it was the same cut, but longer, lol XD

My problem, is that I have freaking weird-ass hair XDDDD No, seriously. When my mum took me into the hairdressers for the first time, the hairdresser took one look at me, turned to my mother, and said, "Grow it long". LOL.

I have a double crown, and four cowlicks D: Fortunately, the only cowlick that is seriously obvious is on one side, where I part my hair. However, this may mean that it isn't possible to have a fringe, because it might go in a weird direction.

The reason I've never had a fringe before (apart from fear, LOL), is because I like to be able to pull my hair off my face sometimes. But I was thinking about it, and that's why they invented hairclips, right? LOL XD *IS VERY QUICK* XD LOL. Besides, I guess it could grow out if I didn't like it.

HOWEVER. The only thing that makes me go HMM (again, apart from the fear, haha), is that I'm not going to my regular hairdresser. My mum wanted me to get it done before I go to Sydney for the ANZAC Day weekend, and I can't get up home in that time. The last (and only) time I went to this place that I'm going to, they did a really good colour, but the cut wasn't that great (the woman who WAS going to do it fell off her horse and couldn't bend down to cut my hair (CURSE YOU LONG HAIR, LOL), so another (apprentice) hairdresser did it instead, and it was kinda lopsided... >.> LOL).

So ANYWAY. If I get it done (I'm going to ask the hairdresser on the day as well, to see what she thinks), I'm thinking of something like this:
