Sooooooooo... update! First of all, I just have to say... Avatar casting... I'm really glad that Jesse McCartney is out. After that interview with him... wow... I mean, I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but he really didn't know anything about anything in Avatar, LOLOL. Like, less, than Jackson Dazzle.

Dev Patel is an amazing actor but... WHY ISN'T HE SOKKA?! LOLOLOL. I mean, I know he's not Inuit (I know they'd be hard to find), but... but... HE'D BE SO GOOD AS SOKKA HOMG. He was so funny in parts of Slumdog Millionaire! And Fail Face (as much as I love him) has NO SENSE OF HUMOUR. LOLOLOL XDDDDD UGH. It's an improvement. BUT IS STILL MADE OF FAIL. Maybe appropriate for Fail Face? LOLOLOL XDDDDD

I DO, however, approve of the casting of Suki!! HOMG!! DID THEY ACTUALLY GET A CASTING DECISION RIGHT?!?!?!?! You know, with the recasting of Zuko from Jesse McCartney to an Asian English actor, and now an Asian American being cast as Suki... do you... do you think they might have got some of the message? O________o DID IT ACTUALLY WORK?! I mean, it'll never be perfect because they still have three white kids in the three main roles, so... still pissed off, LOL.

I just dunno wtf the casting directors were smoking that day. Srsly.

And I keep thinking... what would happen if these kids were meant to be African American instead of Asian American? Do you really think that this casting would be deemed acceptable? Yeah. Didn't think so.

ANYWAY. On Sunday I went into town and (after getting a little lost, LOL) met up with some AWESOME people of AWESOME from MuggleSpace!! :D There were seven of us all together (MOST POWERFUL MAGICAL NUMBER, AMIRITE?!), and we went bowling and got our geek on and didn't get around to organising what we were actually meeting for; putting together a game of Quidditch, LOLOLOL XDDDD

There were two Ravenclaws, two Slytherins, two Hufflepuffs (including myself, and the other guy was a Slytherpuff too, LOLOL) and one Gryffindor! So we were pretty well rounded! Oh, and one of the Slytherins was borderline Gryffindor, so I guess she evened them out a bit more, LOL XDDDDD

Okay. So. GUESS WHO JUST GOT A PROPER, FULL ON FRINGE?! OH YES. THAT WOULD BE ME XD

Whaddya think? I've been dancing around a fringe for about a year now, and I finally got some shortness at the front in June, and got a little more chopped off just over a month ago. But over the last two weeks or so, I've been thinking about it more and more, and jehnt took the plunge yesterday and chopped almost ALL of her hair off, so I took a leaf from her book and just went for it, LOL.

I went in to get my shoes exchanged (which went very well, they happened to have a pair on display in my size in store), and I just went two doors down and said, give me your next available appointment and I got it done an hour later :D

I dunno how I feel about it yet... Megan (my hairdresser) said to wait a week and wait for it to settle, and if it's too long or anything, she'll give me a trim free of charge :D YAY!! And it only cost me $15! Woohoo! :D

I kinda like it! I think it's going to take a bit of getting used to, but I'm quite happy with it! <3

Speaking of hair btw... FENRIR IS FUCKING HORRIFIC!! DDDDDDDDDDDD: No wonder Draco was frightened of him!

And on hair again... Narcissa officially has brown hair on blonde. She's a skunk. Other than that she looks old okay. XDDDD I like her make-up and costume design :3

So, I had a lovely day today! Woo! I slept in, then went into town with 6kittykat6, jhuneycutt and Joe! I ended up buying a set of zipper earrings to go with my zipper bracelet, some 50s style sunglasses (SO EPIC) and two tops :D A very productive day, LOL XDDDD

I'm conflicted re: George W. Bush's statements btw. I think that if you're going to be all proclaimy (and actually DO NOTHING) specifically because the spotlight is on China for something completely different, you probably shouldn't go and then use their hospitality and be all, "OH HAI. I KINDA HATE YOU BUT YAY FREE OLYMPICS". If you're gonna try and make a stance against human rights violations in China via the Olympics... DON'T GO TO THE OLYMPICS. LOLOL.

Well, I am now officially back in Hobart. Flight back was in NO WAY as good as the one there (though I don't think it could have POSSIBLY been better. Maybe if Ewan McGregor had come up to me and said "ILU make movies and babies w/ me"... ANYWAY... moving along... LOL.) Back home, back to work, back to Uni, *le sigh* 9am starts should be banned or something.

I don't wanna jinx it or anything, but I've been asked to arrange an interview w/ the manager of my local Video City (and me moving into this apartment had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do w/ the fact that the biggest Video City in the state was a 5 minute walk away AT ALL... LOL), in regards to a casual job. This would be like, THE ULTIMATE job for me. I know all the girls there already (and there's this dude who looks like Elijah Wood, NO FREAKING JOKE), to the point of them saying to me "I'm not supposed to tell you this, but the manager was looking to get in contact w/ you" and telling me when the girl from Head Office will be in, LMFAO. I love these guys. :D

I met up w/ the supremely awesome mybabyangel and natatree yesterday, and they both totally rocked my socks. :D We talked about awesome things like Harry Potter, Five (still can't believe that mybabyangel just HAPPENED to not only be a Five fan, but a RITCHIE fan... ZOMG, LOL), ear candles (we're still as WTF?! as you are... LOL), and Calvin and Hobbes. I think my best quote of the day was,

So needs to be iconised. LMFAO. AHEM. Yes... we had an interesting day, LOL. And haha, we were going to meet up at Circular Quay (pron. KEY not Quay, LOL), and I rang Natatree, because I got there, and I was like, 'Hmm... you know... Circular Quay... kinda big...' LOL. (It's the port where the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge are). But it was all okay. We met up fine :D The following is a picture that Natatree took when we went to Hyde Park(?) after I photoshopped it to make the colours nice and purdy. :D

It just occurred to me that I didn't tell you guys I got my hair cut... huh... well... I got my hair cut :D LOL. It's quite shortish now. I have other photos where it's more clear, but I'll have to wait for the aforementioned. :D

My mother also kinda went on a shopping spree for me, which I feel guilty about... LOL. She bought me not only FOUR awesome new tops (one that is bright yellow and oh so Hufflepuff), but a pair of walking shoes, AND... THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PAIR OF SHOES EVERRRRR from Mollini... :D They're kinda a cross between the following:


They're like the ones on the left, but w/ the colouring of the right and w/ silk laces. OH YES. :D I had been looking for these ALL HOLIDAYS and couldn't find them. I have decided that for a person who is OBSESSED w/ movies I don't talk about them enough. So. Here goes:

Tom Hanks has signed on (and apparently been paid a HELLOVA lot of money) to do the sequal to The Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons. Wow. They're doing another one? The first film was just so... average... I mean, the book was good, but I didn't think it translated to the screen very well. Plus, Tom Hanks. I've said it before. I don't like him. LOL.

THERE IS GOING TO BE A MOVIE OF GET SMART!! OMG. <3333 LOL. USA Today posted a picture of Anne Hathaway and Steve Carell in the main roles. AWESOME. I didn't like Steve Carell much until I saw Little Miss Sunshine. That was such a freaking BRILLIANT movie, and he was fantastic. BRING ON THE SMRT!! :D

And Just Jared is reporting that Orlando Bloom was seen discussing a part in the new Superman movie. 0.o Can I be the first one to say, 'BZUH?!' I mean, I know that his on-off-on-off-on-off girlfriend had one of the leading roles... but who the hell would he play?! I SUPPOSE Lois' new love interest or something... >.> yeah...
