OKAY. So. Still not brilliant, but doing okay now. I've been uh... coughing phlegm (sorry, I wasn't going to say it, but it is just such a brilliantly spelled word, LOL) up for like two days, and it's finally started to subside! YAY!!! :D I still haven't slept more than about four hours at a time though - I keep waking up, coughing :( I'm pretty sure *TOUCH WOOD* that it won't develop into a cold... LOL. I'm going to regret that, aren't I? XDDDDDD

ANYWAY. Point of the post is... I'm flying back to Hobart today because... I've accepted an offer to do a Bachelor of Teaching :D I'm kinda... really looking forward to it, actually! :D It's going to be hard work, but I think I'll enjoy it - and because both my parents were teachers, they can actually help with my work if I need it this time, (LOL, they weren't much help with my film/audio/computers degree, XDDDD).

So far as that last entry went... it wasn't ANYTHING to do with you guys. You are SO awesome, and are a constant source of support and love that I know I can turn to. In some very good news, Telstra FINALLY put my new internet speeds through, ZOMG. So now it takes under an hour to download Heroes/House etc, unlike the 3.5 hours it used to take!! WOOOOOO!! <3 Still haven't received my bill from last month though (I rang them three times already!!), and it's now three weeks late!! WTF. It's not like Telstra to NOT bill someone!! LOL XDDDD

So, I had an exam thingy for the ABC Journalist Cadetship today. I don't think I made it through, but oh well! I did try to get in contact with the guy TWICE this week to ask about the format of the exam, but got no response, so I went into it really blind.

There were three sections A) general knowledge, B) punctuation and grammar (with a special section dedicated entire to apostrophes!! ZOMG WIN) and C) journalism writing. I think I got about 50% in the first, 90% in the second and about 65% in the third, LOLOL XDDDD

ANYWAY. What the point of this is... is that there were people there with MASTERS and PHDS in Journalism, and people who had worked in NEWSPAPERS, and here's me NO JOURNALISM EXPERIENCE. AT ALL. SRSLY. LOL. I was so amused. There were only 9 other people there... LOLOL. I'M GOING TO ASK THE QUESTION AGAIN. HOW THE HELL DID I MAKE IT THERE?! LOLOL.

And hey, I wasn't expecting to get THIS far, and now I know what they want, I can apply for it next year if I feel like it :D

YAY FAIL!! :D Phew. Now I get to sleep in again! YAY! LOLOLOL XDDDD

ALSO. I am making more Flameos and I'm going to sell them either on Esty or Ebay :D Which do you guys recommend?

Okay, so call me crazy, but it only occurred to me THIS WEEK that Pete Wentz is in Fall Out Boy O___o LOLOLOL.

My brain just never made the connection! I'd read, "Pete Wentz (lead singer of Fall Out Boy)" and it just wouldn't... click? Hahaha. ANYWAY. I bought the single "I Don't Care" a couple of weeks ago and about a week later my brain caught up with "Paparazziphotographed!PeteWentz = FallOutBoy's!PeteWentz". I know. I'm slow.

Had a nice telephone call today! I applied last night for a Junior Graphic Design + Finished Artist job, and the recruiting woman rang me up and basically fangirled me over the phone, LOLOL!! I was so flattered! :D She was like, "Your work is so brilliant! Just between you and me, I have about 50 applications, but your portfolio is fantastic!" and my brain went "BZUH?!" LOL. I mean, I personally think my portfolio is kinna lame, coz, well... 90% of it is Harry Potter stuff ^^; LOL XD

ANYWAY. She wanted to know how srs I was about moving to Sydney, and I said that if I got a job there I could move there almost immediately, so she said she'd pass on my resume :D YAY! I'm not expecting to get anything, but it was a nice call to have this morning :D

Mmmm... I just had some Pan de Casa bread with honey and butter and mmmmmmmmmm... it was soooo good. I'm not a huge fan of honey, but I use it in cooking and once a year I have it on toast (I much prefer savoury to sweet things). But this was just... perfect! The butter and honey had melted into the bread and mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... NOM NOM NOM :3

Thanks to masterofmystery, we have some scans from the French HBP calendar (which is the one I will be buying, because HELLO DRACO! LOLOL XDDD Why is there, like, four pictures of him in the French one and NONE in the American one?! O:)
