So far as that last entry went... it wasn't ANYTHING to do with you guys. You are SO awesome, and are a constant source of support and love that I know I can turn to. The day after was much better, and I came back down to Hobart and saw Joshie and Erika and Tom and I felt good again <3 Except of course that seeing Josh is a reminder that he's GOING HOME (to North Carolina) NEVER TO COME BACK AGAIN!! D: Oh well. I guess it's another excuse to go back to the USA, y/y? (with stopovers in California and Texas, AMIRITE?!)

I had a job interview today with a company based in Sydney! Yay!! I think it went quite well. But they've had over 100 applicants for the one job, so I don't think I'll get it, LOL.

In some very good news, Telstra FINALLY put my new internet speeds through, ZOMG. So now it takes under an hour to download Heroes/House etc, unlike the 3.5 hours it used to take!! WOOOOOO!! <3 Still haven't received my bill from last month though (I rang them three times already!!), and it's now three weeks late!! WTF. It's not like Telstra to NOT bill someone!! LOL XDDDD

Uhm... basically, we were looking at Show Boat in History of Musical Theatre, and one of the things that happens in it, is that a woman gets told she can't marry this guy because her mother was African-American, and apparently that's not allowed at this point in time.

But! There was this guy on there who was playing another woman's father who was bright freaking ORANGE. So, I turned to Josh and said, 'What about him eh? No one says to his daughter, "I'm sorry, but you can't marry this man. You're father was a MANGO."' LOL. XDDDDDD Anyway, it got changed to a guy... because a mango saying "son" is funnier. LOL.

My brain is a scary, scary place. ^^;

So... first of all... NEW LAYOUT ZOMG!! rotae rotae rotae *pimps own journal, LMFAO* :D Woo, go me!! I did it all by myself *is proud* (this means that I followed EXTREMELY easy instructions from a pre-made thing and added a header, LMFAO) Anyone know how I can get a background thingy like a used to have, though? With the grey stripy things? Coz that was awesomness on a STICK, MAN. :D Aaaaand... does anyone know how you can make it so that when you click on an lj-cut, it goes to a white screen without all of the layout stuff? Like on most comms (h_e has it, etc)? Coz I think that would be good if I wanna post large pictures etc :) I need the wizdom (HAHA, I LIKE THAT!! Thirdly... hmm... re: h_e stuff. Yeah. I dunno. I can see both sides of it (LOL Me = Hufflepuff), but at the same time, I think that we're being a little... restricted? And it aint fun when that happens. Yeah. Hmmm... if it's prompting people to go so far as to LEAVE h_e, then it sends a pretty clear message that SOMETHING has gone wrong somewhere down the line. And I suspect in Hufflepuff in particular, we feel like we're being punished for something that had nothing to do with us (i.e. WE didn't have a problem with the way things were). Anyway... yeah. That's my opinion. :D

Fourthly... The Poll as to artisticness/lower voice yielded NO information in favour of it, and actually more artistic people said they had HIGHER voices... so... bugger it. XDDDDD

My computer has had an... INTERESTING couple of days. I have a Powerbook G4 Macintosh Laptop, and my Microsoft Office stuff wouldn't open. So, I took it into the Mac store, and spent 1 1/2 hours trying different things. We reinstalled the package, sent in a repair thing to repair everything that had ever gone wrong ever on my computer, and none of that worked. They sent me home with an overhaul of the entire SYSTEM, and it FINALLY WORKED. OMG. So, now I have the latest version of Mac OS X :D YAY!! I have WIDGETS ZOMG. SO AWESOME. So, there you go. You want a free upgrade? CRASH YOUR OFFICE XDDD I have also ordered in Cinema 4D for my 3D Modeling and Animation class :D YAY!! NEW SOFTWARE!!

OKAY! Enough of that sad stuff. Time to get happy again. :D I'm off home to be with my family tomorrow, and I have a hair appointment first thing Tuesday morning (OMG. TOO EARLY 9am LOL). SO!
