Sooooooooo... update! First of all, I just have to say... Avatar casting... I'm really glad that Jesse McCartney is out. After that interview with him... wow... I mean, I gave him the benefit of the doubt, but he really didn't know anything about anything in Avatar, LOLOL. Like, less, than Jackson Dazzle.

Dev Patel is an amazing actor but... WHY ISN'T HE SOKKA?! LOLOLOL. I mean, I know he's not Inuit (I know they'd be hard to find), but... but... HE'D BE SO GOOD AS SOKKA HOMG. He was so funny in parts of Slumdog Millionaire! And Fail Face (as much as I love him) has NO SENSE OF HUMOUR. LOLOLOL XDDDDD UGH. It's an improvement. BUT IS STILL MADE OF FAIL. Maybe appropriate for Fail Face? LOLOLOL XDDDDD

I DO, however, approve of the casting of Suki!! HOMG!! DID THEY ACTUALLY GET A CASTING DECISION RIGHT?!?!?!?! You know, with the recasting of Zuko from Jesse McCartney to an Asian English actor, and now an Asian American being cast as Suki... do you... do you think they might have got some of the message? O________o DID IT ACTUALLY WORK?! I mean, it'll never be perfect because they still have three white kids in the three main roles, so... still pissed off, LOL.

I just dunno wtf the casting directors were smoking that day. Srsly.

And I keep thinking... what would happen if these kids were meant to be African American instead of Asian American? Do you really think that this casting would be deemed acceptable? Yeah. Didn't think so.

ANYWAY. On Sunday I went into town and (after getting a little lost, LOL) met up with some AWESOME people of AWESOME from MuggleSpace!! :D There were seven of us all together (MOST POWERFUL MAGICAL NUMBER, AMIRITE?!), and we went bowling and got our geek on and didn't get around to organising what we were actually meeting for; putting together a game of Quidditch, LOLOLOL XDDDD

There were two Ravenclaws, two Slytherins, two Hufflepuffs (including myself, and the other guy was a Slytherpuff too, LOLOL) and one Gryffindor! So we were pretty well rounded! Oh, and one of the Slytherins was borderline Gryffindor, so I guess she evened them out a bit more, LOL XDDDDD

UGH. I AM SO EFFING PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW. So, I go into Faull's shoes to get my black and gold glittery converse shoes, right? These ones (they also have a chunky gold glitter streak down the back):


But they don't have the right size. So, I ask them to order in a CONVERSE SIZE 7, specifically stating that I am a regular size 9, and thus a Converse size 7!

UGH. I am so effing tired right now. Srsly. I think I might just go to bed (it's about half past nine, LOL). I've had no weekend, because I've spent the last two days cleaning my sodding apartment for an inspection at 1pm tomorrow D: I want to renew my lease, and asked them last Monday about it, I hadn't heard from them by Friday, so I rang them, and the woman was like, "Okay, the owner wants to come and inspect on Monday, whether you're there or not" and I was like ZOMGBZUH?! D: Usually they give a weeks notice :( Not happy. ANYWAY. I've been cleaning. And am stuffed. And had no weekend. Gah.

HOWEVER. My apartment is now really spick and span, so if you wanna see photos of things (including new bedding y/y?) lemme know and I shall show you tomorrow :D

ANYWAY. Before I go to bed (as I am trying to post every day this month), I need to talk about a VRY SRS ISSHU.

I'm getting my hair cut on the 19th, aaaaaand... I'm thinking about getting a fringe D: ZOMG!! YES. This is a VERY big deal for me. LOL. I've basically had the same haircut for about... hmm... five years now. Different colours, and stuff, but the same cut. And even before that, it was the same cut, but longer, lol XD

My problem, is that I have freaking weird-ass hair XDDDD No, seriously. When my mum took me into the hairdressers for the first time, the hairdresser took one look at me, turned to my mother, and said, "Grow it long". LOL.

I have a double crown, and four cowlicks D: Fortunately, the only cowlick that is seriously obvious is on one side, where I part my hair. However, this may mean that it isn't possible to have a fringe, because it might go in a weird direction.

The reason I've never had a fringe before (apart from fear, LOL), is because I like to be able to pull my hair off my face sometimes. But I was thinking about it, and that's why they invented hairclips, right? LOL XD *IS VERY QUICK* XD LOL. Besides, I guess it could grow out if I didn't like it.

HOWEVER. The only thing that makes me go HMM (again, apart from the fear, haha), is that I'm not going to my regular hairdresser. My mum wanted me to get it done before I go to Sydney for the ANZAC Day weekend, and I can't get up home in that time. The last (and only) time I went to this place that I'm going to, they did a really good colour, but the cut wasn't that great (the woman who WAS going to do it fell off her horse and couldn't bend down to cut my hair (CURSE YOU LONG HAIR, LOL), so another (apprentice) hairdresser did it instead, and it was kinda lopsided... >.> LOL).

So ANYWAY. If I get it done (I'm going to ask the hairdresser on the day as well, to see what she thinks), I'm thinking of something like this:

Okay. Wow. So I fail totally and utterly with comments atm. LMAO. It's just SOOO hectic and blah with Uni. In fact, I'm turning off comments on this post because I'll just feel guilty about not replying LMAO XDDD

OH WELL. Two exams and two portfolios down. One exam, one portfolio and one website to go. :D The exams went pretty well, I think. I think I did quite well on the Audio exam (the one I'm repeating), because I went around to my lecturer's studio with Josh on Monday and went through last years exam paper with him, and half the questions were the same. And the new ones I knew, so that was good :D

Today I bought the following: 1GB RAM chip for my Mac *pets James Apple*, the Long Way Down book, preordered and paid for my SUPER AWESOME TINIFIED AUSTRALIAN EXCLUSIVE OOTP DVD SET and a Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie BBC series DVD. :D Josh bought a drawing tablet, adapters for his Mac for 6 different countries and Disney's Treasure Planet. We also went around looking at cars. Fun was had :D

Sooooo... not much more to say that's interesting because I'm totally stuffed from Uni atm. Srsly. Aguh.

Something random I noticed yesterday; you know how when you get your left and right mixed up, and you say "the OTHER left"... I don't think I've EVER heard anyone say "the other RIGHT". 0.o

I am so fangirling Kevin Rudd (leader of the Opposition) atm. Srsly. Not only did he speak FLUENT MANDARIN to the Chinese President Hu Jintao (and was complimented by him on his PERFECT Mandarin and invited (and possibly not our Prime Minister) to the OLYMPICS, AHAHAHA), he had a 10 minute meeting with George Dubbya that ended up lasting 45 minutes. In which he stood his ground and FIRMLY said that when if he is elected at the end of the year, Australian troops will be out of Iraq by June next year (however, we're in Afghanistan for the long haul as we SHOULD have been THERE in the first place, unlike Iraq).

*fangirls* I mean, I don't agree with him on a lot of things on a personal level, but his party policies (cept Forestry in Tasmania, but seeing as what happened last time, I don't blame him), and his strength is totally making me go weak at the knees.

So, this is Rose and Scorpius... as the title subtly suggests. LOL. Yes, they're both Quidditch players, and they're both in Ravenclaw. It's easier for the fanfiction writer within if they are. Plus, then there's the whole "Whoops! I walked in on you changing after Quidditch" thing for later years, LMFAO. XDDD

I really want these guys to totally hit it off from the word go. I have this plot bunny in my head where they meet on the train, and instead of going "OMG UR NAME IS TEH S0X0R" like her father did to his father, Rose finds the history really interesting, and they get on super well. :aww: And they're totally best friends. And then they go to each other's houses during the holidays and HILARITY ENSUES with their fathers. LMFAO. And, as in my previous Malfoy deviation, their mothers get on REALLY well. Like, Victoria (that's what I've named Draco's wife), Hermione and Ginny totally have drinks together and giggle about their silly husbands. LMFAO. XDDDD

I can also totally see Ron and Hermione having this argument about Rose and Scorpius' friendship when they're about 15ish, and Ron going, "Yes, but are they HARRY and Hermione friends, or RON and Hermione friends?" LMFAO XDDD I am teh lewzer. And so is Ron, because I say so. lol

Btw... Scorpius is totally hot here... >.> I gave him his mother's nose (like I did with Teddy and his mother), so he has this really classically sculpted nose. 0.o Ahem.

And red hair is a highly recessive trait. You have two genes for hair colouring; a blonde/dark hair gene, and a red/non-red gene. The red gene has to be turned on to have red hair (and what shade of red will depend on what gene you have in the blonde/dark hair gene), but like I said, it's recessive. Scientists reckon that there will be no red heads in Australia within the next century. 0.o SO YES. That rant was just to quash the whole "ZOMG WHY DOESN'T ROSE HAVE RED HAIR" argument. She does have red SHADING, but it's not traditionally red hair. And it never says she has red hair anyway.

See, it's different with Harry and Ginny's children, because not only is Ginny a red head, but we KNOW that Harry carries the red gene from his mother. So I reckon at least one of their children has red hair. It's actually about a 50% chance that any children they have, will have red hair.

I'm currently working on Scorpius/Rose art. YAY!! Among ten billion other things, LOL. I have a few things to reply to but it's like four in the morning and I'm going to write this blog and then head to bed.

First off; Luna would totally call her kid Xena. It's the perfect cross between Xenophilius and Luna... plus, like... Xena?!?! Hello?!?!! LOL.

I've been told I look like Victoire, Tonks, Susan Bones, Lavender Brown, Hannah Abbott, Millicent Bulstrode and Remus and Tonks' second child over at H_E. I have come to the conclusion that they have no idea who I look like. LMFAO. Most of the votes were for Victoire or Tonks though. Life is so hard. I either end up with Teddy or Remus. Damn. *sigh* LOL. And mybabyangel said something to me that kinda freaked me out/excited me so much. Teddy/Me/Remus. Oh yes. It's Lupincest (but like... not with them together... with ME. This is MOST important). It's "I Can't Believe it's Not Lupincest" XDDDDDDDDDDDD LOL. I can drawz pr0nz? HAHAHAHA. *dies giggling*

Do you know what? I am so thankful for my life. Seriously. I am so lucky to have all that I have. I have an amazing family, I have very good health (I've never had a headache and generally get a cold once a year, if that), I have hundreds of WONDERFUL friends both IRL and on the internet, I enjoy my Uni work, I really love my obsessions and find joy in them everyday, I'm well off financially, I have hobbies that totally rock... and I just love my life.

And do you know what? I like me. LOL. I know that sounds strange... but I don't feel I need another person to complete me... and I never have. If I never get married or find someone I want to be romantically attached to the rest of my life... I'm actually really okay with that. I like my own company, and can be by myself for days and not really be phased by it.

My parents have been married for almost 35 years (they were married when they were 21 and 20, which is the age I am now)... but I don't mind if I never find someone to be with like that. I mean, sure, if it happens then YAY! But... I won't feel my life has been lessened if I don't. And I don't mind that it happens at the age of 76 if that's when it happens.

As for kids? I have to say that I personally don't wanna give birth. LOL. Maybe I'll feel differently later on, but at this point in time... OW. Seriously! LOL. And I'd love a kid I adopted, or my partner's kid, just as much as I would one who carried my DNA. There are so many children already out there who could use a good home. That's right. I'm going all Angelina on your arse. LOL. Oh, and also, if I want a kid at the age of 38, and I don't have a partner... then I'll adopt one myself. I feel it's something I could definitely do on my own.

[EDIT: I just randomly woke up and feel I forgot this. And, if I fall in love with a woman, btw, I'd be okay with that too. I can't say women are my taste at this point in my life, but if I fell in love with a woman, I wouldn't feel uncomfortable/shocked/horrified/have a problem with it. I believe that love crosses all kinds of boundaries, which just become unimportant in the face of its power.]

I don't think I could honestly, at this point in time, write a blog entry that is down. Unless someone I'm really close to dies... I'm generally okay with whatever life flings at me (not that it's flung much ever, really). And I am so thankful for it. I'm so happy with my life, I feel kinda bad about it. LOL. XDDDD I wish I could share the happiness sometimes, ya know? Make my world a little less good and fling some happiness someone else's way who really needs it.

I have a family whom I love to absolute bits (my parents are THE MOST wonderful people I know), and friends likewise... I have good health, no huge troubles in my life (apart from trying to keep my pot plant (Ian Zacharius) alive, which is a CONSTANT struggle, LOL), and I'm totally optimistic about where my life is heading.

I'm strong, opinionated, argumentative, obsessive, enthusiastic, slightly insane, hyperactive, intelligent, fuzzy, artistic, musical, stubborn, accepting, a Jedi, chocoholic, spaz, loving and I am happy.

This is me. Watch me soar. :D

So that would be a good place to end it, all dramatic and statementy-like... but OMG I'M UP TO THE PART WHERE WARREN SHOOTS BUFFY AND TARA AND OMG *flails* I LOVE SEASON SIX SO MUCH!!! AHHHHHH!!! *creates buffy tag* I need Jossverse icons.

Is it a coincidence that Book 6 of HP and Season 6 of Buffy are my favourites, and Book 3 and Season 3 are my second favourites? I THINK NOT. XDDDD This is the "spaz", "obsessive", "hyperactive", "enthusiastic" and "slightly insane" traits working atm. LMFAO
