I KNOW that you for every 1 good fan fiction, there's at least 50 really bad ones, but this is just effing ridiculous!! I found TWO good stories after going through at least 500 stories. 0.o No joke. WHY does it either have to be "Scorpius and Rose HATE each other with every fibre of their beings. Scorpius is a complete arsehole, and Rose is an overreacting bitch. Draco's turned to the dark side. Scorpius is mizunderstood, and is somehow abused by Draco. Scorpius and Rose seem to know EVERY single piece of dialogue from the war that occurred, even though they're only ELEVEN. Then they fall in love for no apparent reason.", OR, "They fall DESPERATELY in love, until, ZOMG, THEY FIND OUT THE CRAP THAT HAPPENED IN THE WAR!! NUUU!! ANGST ANGST ANGST."

WHY can't there be a happy medium? Why can't they know the main things that happened in the war, and accept that their parents aren't them (even if their parents can't accept that at first, LOL)? EEEEEEEEE. GUSS WAT AYE HAZ. A new, complete, bed set. OH YES. I HAS THSUPA CLEN BEDZORS. And it's so preeeeeeety :D It's good, because I previously only had the one (admittedly, Hogwarts crest cover) bed set, so when I went and washed it, I had to go to the laundromat and use the dryer there, as I don't have one myself. Now I can take my time :D EEE!

I went into Harris Scarfe, as they were having an Easter sale (thank you for the tip off 6kittykat6! :D), and I not only bought a new quilt cover and fitted sheet, (ended up with SIX pillow cases, LOL, as two came with the fitted sheet and four with the quilt cover), but also... DUM DUM DUM... *dramatic music*... TWO NEW HUFFLEPUFF!YELLOW HUMONGOUS TOWELS. OH YES. THEY ARE BIG, AND YELLOW AND FLUFFEH. HOW JEALOUS ARE YOU RIGHT NOW?! XDDD

And just fyi, the sheets and pillow cases and stuff, are 100% Egyptian cotton. And they are fiiiiiine :D Also, the towels are ISIS brand and awesomesauce. AND. The whole lot cost me about $95!! EPIC WIN!! AND. I got to use my credit card for the first time :D HEE. TWAS AWESOME. I came back home and paid it off immediately, LOL *is a geek*

SO CHA. I am writing this from my lovely new bed. In my clean PJs, in my fresh sheets, watching season 3 of Veronica Mars, drinking Farmer's Union Iced Coffee. LOL. WIN!!

I AM OFFICIALLY GOING TO BE A TENOR IN GOSPEL CHOIR. ZOMG. YES. I AM MAN. HEAR ME YODEL. XDDDD Srsly. I just tried it last week because I am naturally an alto/tenor and it was SOOO FREAKING EASY AND AWESOME. And our singing instructor was like "And the tenors have to sing an F which is very high..." (singing that at the F note btw), and I was like "LAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!" and awesome because I can sing that EASY. We haven't sung a very low song yet, but pfft. I cover Josh in the high register, he covers me in the lower one if I need it. Totes awesome. :D YAY SINGING!! Plus, all the guys (tenors) are AWESOME and all the girls (altos) are snobbish and try to steal your music so you can't read it (GET GLASSES, WOMAN!!). LOL.

Which brings me to a poll. When I chatted with Heather on Skype, we were talking about how we find that most of our artistic friends have normal to lower voices than is usual. Is that right?

My computer has had an... INTERESTING couple of days. I have a Powerbook G4 Macintosh Laptop, and my Microsoft Office stuff wouldn't open. So, I took it into the Mac store, and spent 1 1/2 hours trying different things. We reinstalled the package, sent in a repair thing to repair everything that had ever gone wrong ever on my computer, and none of that worked. They sent me home with an overhaul of the entire SYSTEM, and it FINALLY WORKED. OMG. So, now I have the latest version of Mac OS X :D YAY!! I have WIDGETS ZOMG. SO AWESOME. So, there you go. You want a free upgrade? CRASH YOUR OFFICE XDDD I have also ordered in Cinema 4D for my 3D Modeling and Animation class :D YAY!! NEW SOFTWARE!!

I came second in a graphics competition @ hogwarts_elite!! ZOMG!! WOOO!!! GO PUFFS!! We had to do a Quidditch icon:

Uhm... what else do I have to say... I went to a 23rd birthday party yesterday, which was OMG AWESOME! Because, I got to catch up with lots of people who I hadn't seen in a while, we played on the kiddies play equipment, and it was Liz's birthday which is awesome in itself :D We (Buffy, Doc, Kate and I) went back to Fisher (where I used to live), and ran around trying to find people we knew... only to discover that they were either out at Flamingos or the Casino... DAMN YOU PEOPLE WHO GO OUT AT NIGHT, LOL. We met a Fresher called Daniel who was a bit... scared, I think, LOL. :D And PUT CRAP ON YOUR DOORS, PEOPLE!! YOU ARE NOT DRONES!! IT LOOKS LIKE A FUCKING HOSPITAL.

I don't know whether it was subliminally being at Fisher last night or something else, but I made my FIRST EVER STIR-FRY @ home tonight for tea... I know. It's only taken me THREE MONTHS to get over the DISGUST I used to feel when I thought about stir-fry and associated it with Fisher food... LOL. XDDDD Sooner than I expected! YAY!!

And speaking of food! Thank you SO MUCH to all who posted recipes for me a few weeks ago!! I didn't get around to replying to all of them, but I did see them, and I shall DEFINITELY try them out... as soon as I translate to metric :D LOL. And opaleyes! I had NO IDEA what the hell "cilantro" was... LOL. We call it Corriander! :D I looked it up because I was like, OMG.. WTF IS THAT?! And then I found this ANTI-CILANTRO site, where people spoke about the EVILS of cilantro, and people testifying to its evil, LMFAO XDDDDD People are srsly WEIRD. LOL.
