Okay. Wow. So I fail totally and utterly with comments atm. LMAO. It's just SOOO hectic and blah with Uni. In fact, I'm turning off comments on this post because I'll just feel guilty about not replying LMAO XDDD

OH WELL. Two exams and two portfolios down. One exam, one portfolio and one website to go. :D The exams went pretty well, I think. I think I did quite well on the Audio exam (the one I'm repeating), because I went around to my lecturer's studio with Josh on Monday and went through last years exam paper with him, and half the questions were the same. And the new ones I knew, so that was good :D

Today I bought the following: 1GB RAM chip for my Mac *pets James Apple*, the Long Way Down book, preordered and paid for my SUPER AWESOME TINIFIED AUSTRALIAN EXCLUSIVE OOTP DVD SET and a Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie BBC series DVD. :D Josh bought a drawing tablet, adapters for his Mac for 6 different countries and Disney's Treasure Planet. We also went around looking at cars. Fun was had :D

Sooooo... not much more to say that's interesting because I'm totally stuffed from Uni atm. Srsly. Aguh.

Well. I thought that LJ was e-mailing my comments again, finally. BUT. Then I find out that there are some 10 comments in my last post that WEREN'T E-MAILED, so I just found out you guys left them.

ANYWAY. I probably won't be online for the next few days. On Wednesday I have my written exam for History of Musical Theatre, Thursday my Advanced Audio Design exam (and portfolio due) and then on Friday I have my listening exam for History of Musical Theatre. So yeah. Study, study, study. Then next Thursday my doco is due. Oh. Fuck. LOL. XDDDDD

Scorpius has his little Appleby Arrows jumper on to support Daddy. He's having a very good time :3 But omg, I so can't draw babies, LOL. Getting better though, I think. Practise makes perfect!

OMFG. I WANT VICTORIA'S SHOES SO MUCH. SRSLY. I should design shoes. Maybe I've missed my calling. *ponders* :D I like her dress too. You know what? I just like Victoria. My fan fictions have been put on hold until I finish Uni, but I'm having so much fun drafting things :D

In addition to this she shed more light on the early days of the Order, saying James, Sirius, Remus and Lily were full time Order members. "Full Time Fighters," as Jo put it.

So at first I was like, OMGWTFBBQNUWAI!! But then I thought this: he, Sirius, James and Lily were "full time fighters". I reckon they were more concerned about the war than they were about money. They were putting their lives on the line every day.

James would only have to say "we need you in the Order, Remus, not off worrying about having to do some other job to pay me for money I don't need". So I can see that. Not that Remus wouldn't object anyway, LOL. But there was three of them and only one of him, so it's not like he'd win. LOL. *EXPECTS FAN FICTION NOW KTHNXBAI*

But basically, if you look at what she's saying, she's talking about how "he does try to protect Harry"... she's talking about his moral cowardice in relation to him thinking that what he's doing with the DEATH EATERS is not true to his morals. NOT the other way around with Dumbledore in HBP. WOW. AWESOME. But yeah, we see in DH he's saying "I'm on your side!!" when you know... he doesn't care anymore. He just doesn't want to die for his morals. LOL. Which I can't really blame him for.

Oooookay... so... what have I been doing? Uni work, mostly. I've been spending a lot of time on my doco... trying out different things and seeing what works and what doesn't. So much still needs to be done on it though... it's like the thing that wouldn't shut-up end. LOL. HOWEVER. Some excellent news is that I will eventually be able to put it up on deviantART!! Woohoo!! Yay!! No stupid YouTube for me! No siree! :D LOL.

On the note of Uni... guess who got an HIGH DISTINCTION on their History of Musical Theatre essay last week? Oh yes! That would be me :D I am so proud. LOL. Considering I started it at 10pm the night before, I'm VERY proud of it XDDDDD

I haven't drawn in a week D: I go to, and then can't. And it's annoying the hell out of me. GAH. I feel guilty when I draw for not working on my Uni stuff, LOL.

I also have to create a website (or other LJ account) for my portfolio. I'd really like to go for an actual website (rotae.net, how's that sound? :D)... but I have NO IDEA how to do it. If any of your guys have any inclination to teach me (LOLOL) PLEASE feel free to contact me about it, LOL. I'm on a Mac OS X operating system. :D

The Australian General Election has been announced for the 24th of November!! Woohoo!! LET'S GO KEVIN07!! :D If you're not enrolled to vote and are 18 (or will turn 18 before the 24th of November) PLEASE go and ENROL before WEDNESDAY because if you don't enrol and vote you will be FINED. That's right people. If you don't vote, you get slammed with a FINE. :( And that will not make me happy with Jan. XDDDD

Today I had one of the most AWESOME experiences of my LIFE. I watched Kill Bill 1&2 for the very first time. Oh. My. God. SRSLY. Wow. Just... SUCH a brilliant movie. I enjoyed 1 more than 2, but that's okay. 2 had its moments as well :D And it gave me a really good idea for my doco, so it was time well spent, LOL :D

Ritchie is going VERY well in Cirque de Celebrite :D Woo hoo!! I have yet to see yesterday's episode, but apparently he was wearing a vest thing without a shirt underneath. OMG. :D LOL. AND. HE CUT HIS HAIR :O And damn if he doesn't look as good as he did in 2001 when he had it then. :D

I've come to a decision:

I WON'T BE READING MY FRIENDS PAGE FOR THE NEXT SIX DAYS.

Basically, I really could not handle it AT ALL if I were spoiled anymore. I've been obsessed with this series for over seven years now, and the idea of being spoiled a week before the FINAL book just really makes me recoil in horror. And while I trust the people on my flist, I just can't take the chance.

And of course there's the absolutely gut wrenching feeling I have whenever I read the bloody thing through my fingers, trying to keep my eyes out of focus. LMFAO.

I'll be checking lumos_lims, metamorfic_moon and hogwarts_elite, but that is it. If you have something happen in your life that is important, then leave me a comment about it here :)

I'll keep updating my personal journal :) I still have to post two theories and that picture of Narcissa... LOL. I'm doing some art you guys might be interested in as well :D

ALSO: I'm still looking for people to interview via Skype for my documentary before the book release. I'd actually prefer to do it during America's morning/afternoon, as Uni is starting back up this week *sigh*.

crazy_megan, sea0tter12, lunylucy, arinelle, mybabyangel, irrevokable and reia_s!! If you're still interested in helping out with the doco, that would be awesome! A few of you said that you'd be able to film the release in your city, and that'd be PHENOMENAL. If you want to be interviewed, that'd be great too. I can Skype (preferred), AIM, MSN or e-mail :D

And if anyone else would like to help, I'd love some international coverage of the release; i.e. TV news reports, newspaper scans, etc. If you just tape your national news on Saturday (get your parents to do it or something if you're still reading, LOL) and that mornings, and the next mornings paper, that'd be SO MUCH HELP. British people, I'm looking at you (as we have the same region code for video)!! samuti and much_reality, you in particular. LMAO XDDDDD

Seriously guys, ANY news coverage would be AMAZING. And if you could film/take photos of the release party in your area, I'd be eternally grateful. :D

So, I've seen OotP twice, and I'm still not ready to give my full opinion on it. It'll take me a couple more screenings to gather my thoughts, I think. Overall, I liked it though. AND. I realised that I get to see it at IMAX when I go to Sydney next week!! OMG!! WOOOOOOO!! XDDDD

I was on the font page of the state newspaper today because of the movie (apparently nothing else happened in the world, LOL). Five other girls and I were all dressed up, and they interviewed me about my documentary. :D

The guy who was interviewing me hadn't read the books, but has to do the review for the paper, and asked me what advice I had to give him going into it as someone who had no idea what to expect. I suggested that he not get caught up with the details, as it goes along. A lot of things aren't said outright, because you're just meant to KNOW it already. Like, you'll see Tonks, change her nose into a pig snout and change her hair colour... don't ask why or how she does it, just accept that she does. And, if you're really interested as to why, PICK UP A BOOK. LMFAO.

We ended up talking for about 40 minutes, LOL. He was very nice :) He told me to ring them when I finish it so they can publicize it. And, they called me a "documentary maker" in the article. I squeed. Very hard. XDDDD

OH! And I met the most AWESOME people at the premiere! They're called Eliza and JOSH. And JOSH is SO FREAKING MUCH like my mate JOSH it was INSANE. In looks and interests. AND. Our parents both run Heritage Bed and Breakfasts. How freaky is that?! LOL.

DRACO'S WAND ARRIVED THE DAY BEFORE I SAW THE MOVIE. OH YES. AWESOME. :D It's really HEAVY, actually. LOL. And a "WHOPPING, 14" INCHES!!" according to the description, LMFAO. HEHEHE. I LOLED.

Overall, I really like this. And the original was a bit smaller, so it's the first time I've scaled up instead of down, which was interesting. This took about... hmm... 9 hours all up, I think. Okay. So, something very interesting just happened. I just found out that Christina Aguilera will be doing a show in SYDNEY on JULY 24TH. And I am SERIOUSLY considering going. This would be 3 DAYS after the HPDH release. And there is this to consider:

DO I GO TO SYDNEY FOR THE HPDH RELEASE TO FILM?

There would be SO MUCH MORE going on. And SO MANY MORE PEOPLE to talk to. BUT, at the same time, do I WANT to have that many people? I wouldn't have my second camera (Joshie) to work w/ and it might not come out as good... Unless Josh wants to go!! :D LOL. Hmmmhmm... tickets go on sale on the 2nd of May, so I have until then to decide... I don't mind pre-ordering the book again in Sydney, LOL.

One quick question: can you tell I'm exchsmited?! LOL. Yeah. I'm going in tomorrow to be shown the ropes and stuff. No idea what I'm going to do about Pizza Hut though... :( They plan their roster 2 weeks in advance, so I can't tell them "No, I'm not working here until the holidays" until I know how many hours I'll be working @ Video City yet. Just incase they only want me 2 hours a week or something... And the roster is made tomorrow, so BLAH. LOL. ANYWAY...

EDIT: So. I just went to return The Office at said Video City, and the Elijah Wood (but hotter) guy was working there. And he is really into Harry Potter. Srsly. He and Megan and I just talked for like, half an hour about it. And then, as I was leaving, I said to him, "You know I'm starting working here..." and he said, "Full-time?" and I said, "No, just casual", and he looked a little disappointed. :O OMG. My friend Amber wrote her and she wrote back, so I'm optimistic. I went and saw Becoming Jane at the Gold Class cinema w/ Josh and I've been thinking for a while now that I would REALLY like to make a movie about J.K's life. She's just had such an extraordinary life and I'd love to tell her OTHER story, LOL. So I think I'll just write her and say, "You know, if you EVER want to give your permission, I'd LOVE to be involved. I make very good tea", LMFAO. Or something like that. :D

Speaking of which: WOULD ANY OF YOU WOULD BE INTERESTED IN BEING IN MY DOCO ABOUT FANDOM? Basically, this is THE YEAR to do one, and it's my LAST YEAR in my degree (how scary is THAT?!), and one of my courses is worth 25% (not the ususal 12.5%), which means that it can be a BIG project. And that's what I want to do. I mean, people say "HP gets kids to READ", and I don't think they realise that it also gets them to WRITE and DRAW and be in RPGs and create GRAPHICS and everything.

SO. I'm looking for people who have had HP inspire them in some way. Whether it's made you draw, write, read more, whether it's allowed to make good friends, whether it's helped you get through some difficult times in your life. ANYTHING. I want to talk to you about it. Because we are a FANTASTIC bunch of people, and others should see that. I also want to cover the HPDH release, if you think fandom will survive, what you think is going to happen in HPDH, and reactions afterwards. You can be involed as much as you want, or as little as you want. Just lemme know if you're interested :D It'd mean a lot to me :) PLUS, you'd get a copy of it when it's finished. YOU'LL BE ON YOUR TV. LOL. XDDD

I watched the second season of The Office. I've come to the conclusion that it is quite good, because it's a BAREABLE version of the British one that doesn't make me bang my fists on the floor in absolute AGONY. LMFAO. That's what the British one does to me. And I love it for that reason. But I like that I can watch the American one and be amused, but not in pain. XDDDD This means I also know why grrliz posted something about Struwwelpeter a few weeks ago. Did anyone else have this book as a kid?

I had the WIDEST collection of books when I was a kid. And this was one that DEFINITELY stuck w/ me. Apparently my Mum only read it to me two times, but DAMN I remember those pictures so well. It's such an AWESOME set of books. Plus, it teaches you about fire safety. LMFAO.

Also: Care Bears is coming back to TV. Yeah. And apparently they're going to have "a new take on such original characters as Cheer Bear, Funshine and Grumpy." 0.o A new take? LOL. How different can "Grumpy" be?
