Hmm. So. Right. It's theoretically 32 1/2 hours until I leave Sydney shores and fly to the USA! And surprisingly... it hasn't really set in 0.o LOL. You think it would have by now, right? XDDDD I dunno... I guess it just feels like I'm in Sydney for a couple of days, which is nothing I haven't done at least 50 times.

This will actually be my last sleep in a BED before I go though. I'm not sleeping Saturday night, because I have to be out at the airport at about 6:45am anyway, and I want to wake up just as I'm arriving in the USA, so I'm putting off sleeping for as long as I can. I reckon I could make about 4-5 into the flight :D

OH. [livejournal.com profile] lunylucy and [livejournal.com profile] kiwifire! I had a thought! SHOCKING, ISN'T IT?! XDDD SO. I forgot that I'll totally be like at the very LEAST an HOUR in customs/security whatever for passports, and they have to take my mug shot and fingerprints and take away all my rights, LOL. So that should take about 2 hours, I think. Do you guys want me to ring you when I'm almost done or something?

ANYWAY. Sydney has been AWESOME :D Today my aunt, cousin, mum, dad, grandmother (uncle who joined us later) and I went into the CBD and spent over an HOUR in the new Apple Store :D OH YES. I has mah geek on :D THEN. We went to the Lindt chocolate cafe and had lunch, and for dessert I had a waffle with white chocolate and vanilla ice cream and melted milk chocolate XDDD WINNNNNNN. AND THEN. We went BACK to the Apple Store and my dad bought himself a BRAND NEW MACBOOK!!!!! OMFG. It's so awesome. And has Leopard. And is just made of WIN. AND. I bought a new battery for my wonderful old Powerbook, which I'm currently running down as per recommendation (so far it's been going for over 3 hours!!!!!!!! My last battery was lucky to get half an hour by itself, LOLOL XD)

So I has had a good day :D

YESTERDAY was interesting too! I went to this place to have my legs waxed, and I ended up having a facial too :D BUT. The interesting part was when they asked what skin treatment I was using, and I said, "Proactiv", and the woman kinda made that hissing noise? You know, when people are like, "Ooooh, OUCH"? LOLOL XDDD ANYWAY. Turns out, that Proactiv really isn't very good, because it DRIES OUT YOUR SKIN and doesn't actually clear away stuff, but just keeps it under the surface!! Like Jaws or something!! XDDDD SO. We ended up buying this new stuff, and OMFG. It cleared up my skin in a freaking DAY. NO JOKE. My skin is SOOOO smooth now! I have the occasional blemish, but it's simply AMAZING for just ONE DAY. LOL XDDDD It did for me in a day what Proactiv didn't manage to do for the nine months I was using it O____o

The A Week in the Life Of will have to wait/be postponed, because I'm just too darn busy. You guys should see me when I'm doing dull things or something XDDDD

Tomorrow is a big day, because I have to get all the stuff I haven't got yet, LOL, AND, we're having a big family barbecue :D Should be ace :D

ANYWAY. I'm le tired. So I shall have a nap, and THEN FIRE ZE MISSILEZ!! 0.o >.> XDDDD *huggles joo all*

Peace,
Rotae

You, ma'am, are a dweeb. =P FIRE ZE MISSILES! XD

Anyway, as for customs and stuff... I dunno, I was figuring maybe 20 minutes to get off the plane, then maybe an hour to go through customs and get baggage? I dunno. I'm not sure what all torturous devices they'll inflict on you. ;P Hopefully being 6:30 AM will speed the process along.

I dunno, what do you think, Lusine? Should we get there at like 8? (MOAR SLEEP! :D)

8 is pushing it, I think.. Maybe get to my house at 6:30? And we'll still need to check online if the flight is on time and stuff.

What's this about fingertips? o.O You've got a tourist's visa right, not permanent living or whatever. The passport checking and stuff just takes a few minutes (UNLESS THEY REALIZE YOU'RE AN EBYL WITCH), it's the lines that are long XP

Oh, fine. ;D Yeah, checky online is good. Much zzz's will be had in the mid-day. ;D

Hey, thank Rotae xD This is 1.5hr more sleep than I originally planned us getting.

agggahhhh XDDDDD yes, absolutely no need to get there immediately at 6:30! ;D lol, they'd probably arrest us for loitering and looking suspicious or something ;P

No, I'm going under the Visa Waiver Program (http://travel.state.gov/visa/temp/without/without_1990.html#vwp) :D But I'm pretty sure they take your mug shot and fingerprints REGARDLESS if you have a Visa or not. And then you sign your right away for if you break the law ^^;

Sorry, quick post before we're off to the barbecue XD

Peace,
Rotae

:D :D :D

ALSO: WHAT IS THAT STUFF YOU USED? My back is always like "I am going to have vague acne just enough so that you can't wear anything without a back but not badly enough to warrant any real panic" so I am always on the lookout for good stuff.

Yeah, Proactive did nothing for me, either :\

So yeah - I loved it, it was so awesome! Hee - it did very much remind me of the sheer WIN of fandom. (When you were crying I was like D: and wanted to hug you *hugs*. And when you were SQUEEing over JKR announcing Dumbledore was gay, I laughed, because XD I pretty much did the same thing, except my brother was around to give me a "you're insane" look :D). And the trailers were hilarious!
