Okay, so now I totally ship Rudd/Obama. >.>

Senator Obama praised the leadership Mr Rudd had shown on climate change since winning government and he talked up the value to the US of an Australia which could provide leadership in East Asia.

"In Asia, the quality of our alliance and the scope of our diplomatic partnership shine brightly," he said.

"Prime Minister Rudd brings special skills and experiences to this new chapter in US-Australia relations.

"His progressive domestic policy agenda, innovative and realistic diplomacy, and optimistic vision enrich the already solid base of our bilateral dialogue, reminding us that we can accomplish more when we listen to our friends and allies then when we lecture them."

No lie. Rudd and Obama are my FAVOURITE politicians of my generation. I can not wait to tell my kids about both of them.

Both of them have made speeches that have brought tears to my eyes. That is rare for me.

Lol, I hope Obama is taking notes. Cos seriously, even Obama is still more right-of-center than Rudd is, and Rudd is probably the most conservative Labour leader we've had forever.

Yeah. It seems that in order to win back power, Labor needed to bring in those middle-wing people who usually vote Liberal. I hope he wins. Although I am a little unsure of his gay/lesbian policies. What I've seen I haven't been as impressed with as I have with Hillary.

I have REALLY been so apathetic about this years election, but I just saw an Obama commercial, that he said he was gonna put out 150 billion dollars for finding alternative fuel. And my neck snapped around like whiplash how fast I spun to the TV. I was like O_______O WAAAH! Someone ACTUALLY agreeing they're GONNA do something full blown bout the fuel problem instead of not talking about it because they're a-scared???

I KNOW! That, and China, were the main issues that Obama and Rudd discussed when they met. It's very exciting :D Climate change was one of the policies that the Rudd government won on, so they'd better be keeping their promises :D LOL :D

I'm very hopeful <3
