[CLOSED NOW, THANK YOU!! :D]

Oh, and yeah. LOL. PayPal is the method of payment. rotae [underscore] lupin [at] hotmail [dot] com (rotae_lupin@hotmail.com)

So for those who wanted it; here's the English translation of the conversation Draco and Olga had in my fan fiction WHICH YOU SHOULD ALL READ NOW, KTHNXBAI. ([livejournal.com profile] ldymusyc, [livejournal.com profile] finchburg, [livejournal.com profile] reia_s and [livejournal.com profile] amberpalette, I'm looking at YOU!! Where are my Draco fangirls? :( I'm converting everyone else and you're not there to see it!! LOL)

‘How goes the olive picking, Olga?’ he asked over the sound of falling olives. He knew that this was one of her favourite activities, and always asked how it was going.

Olga stopped hitting the tree and turned towards him.

‘Very well, thank you, Draco.’ She smiled. ‘If only this were my husband, eh?’

If only it were her husband. This was not an unexpected response from the woman he’d come to know over the past month.

‘If only!’ Draco agreed, laughingly.

‘Perhaps it’s a good thing he left me after all? Otherwise I might accidentally slip with the stick and hit him instead.’

“Accidentally” having the stick slip and hit the man... now that was something Draco would pay to see. He had imagined her husband to be an argumentative sort of man, short and dumpy, in comparison to his tall and quite lanky, wife. They would be quite the comedy duo. He imagined her now, running after the stout man with the stick nipping at his heels.

He fought back a laugh and agreed once again with her.

‘I’m going down to the port, do you need anything, Olga?’ He often offered to get supplies for her when he went into town, but she never accepted.

‘No thank you, dear. I’m fine for the moment. Thank you for asking. Maybe there’s hope for men yet?’

And for all those who don't believe the HEDGE WAS FUCKING ON FIRE... here you go;

No, I'm fine. Thanks to the two people who asked, LMAO XDDDDDDD Nah, I know ya'll love me ;) :D *huggles*

Peace,
Rotae

Re: fiyah!
I am glad you are okay!

Yes I know about the friends page feature, LOL but thank you for pointing it out. I have no easy excuse like that for missing LJ posts, I just don't read the friends page thoroughly enough because it always seems to freeze my browser ^.^;;;;;;;;;;;;;

I shall read it, definitely, perhaps today!

LOL. I bet you two keep each other in check. I've noticed in a not-so-subtle way that you both feel very uninhibited expressing criticism XD;;;;;; LOL and I SWEAR I mean that lovingly! LOL.

Re: fiyah!
Ah! I just wanted to make sure you weren't having to go through all of you friends on your profile or something, LOL :D

OoooH! I read yours btw. I liked it. Your ranting was so awesome. XDDDD And Draco was great :3 WOLFSBANE FTW :D

Aw, we just know that neither one of us would ever intentionally say something to hurt the other one :D You should see my latest post. I made some icons out of our chat, HAHA. :D

I think she writes Lucius and Narcissa very well, actually. A lot of Lucius's thoughts are thoughts, ya know? He doesn't say much, but he thinks a lot. And Narcissa doesn't put up with any of his crap, LOLOL. XDDD

OH. And she's currently writing one where Draco totally goes OFF at Lucius after their tortured after the Malfoy Manor chapter :D She won't show it to me yet, but it sounded very promising. :D

And her version of Draco's wife is great too! Ursula, her name is. :D They meet in a coffee shop ;) HEEEE!! I can't believe we both got each other writing fan fiction!! It's insane!! LOL :D

Peace,
Rotae

Re: fiyah!
lol thank you, that's just chapter one >XD LOL but probably the only one that features Lucius. I am trying to do a vignette from every facet of Draco's postwar life. Yes "my" version of his wife will be in there. Actually it'll be a friend's version...just btwn us I sometimes wish I had invented her..bc there are some things I'd do differently, a lot more like your Victoria :^/ or I imagine Heather's Ursula. Oh well XD

I imagine both of you write them fantastically.

.....Can I still has iconses fwum choo? @__@

Re: fiyah!
Yeah... I'd like to see YOUR version of Draco's wife... that'd be really cool :D I mean, not that Joan Elle's(? Is that her name?) not cool and all, but it does restrict your artistic licence I guess. :(

Oh! And Heather said that she's gonna let Draco be "manly" and make the first move on Ursula, LMAO. I'm like, the exact opposite XDDD I can't believe I actually have, like, an outline for the next two chapters! Usually I have no idea what the hell is going to happen, LMAO XDDD

Sure! But I have an essay due in on Friday which I haven't started and also a presentation to do on the same day, and I have that list up there to contend with atm... so yeah, LOL. I could do you some on the weekend maybe. :)

Peace,
Rotae

Re: fiyah!
No, no don't do them soon if you are that busy! I keep forgetting when you're in class, because you once mentioned attending in what is summer over here (between June and August) and I was like buh? lol. I had no idea you were in classes now (forgive my retardation LOL) so don't worry. I forgot they were on your overextended Gemini list ^^;

Also, because this might get seen by certain individuals, I will just say yes and mm hmm lol to what you said about my inventing a certain character. It's alright though. The only difference is I would have made her a bit more socially refined. Although to the credit of the JE character, she does attend Beauxbatons for two years and it makes her an elegant socialite of sorts, and thus a bit more plausible for Draco. Another problem with her character is she tends to lash out and run away from relationships, and Draco being not 100% self assured in that dept gets burned fairly frequently. Dunno. But at this point my friend is so invested in the character that I feel like a real weasel doing anything to change it, you know? I guess I'm too nice. LOL. I think maybe I'm a Ravenpuff. Or a Ravendor. Lol. Most often I get the latter on quizzes lol.

Also not to get into more typed fisticuffs with dear Heather lol XDDD (lmfgdao the other day my best friends were reading one of my old exchanges with Heather, and then the most recent one, and were like "so why are you two friends again?" LOL and I was like, well, it's just the spirit of debate, it's not personal ^^;;; LOL) but I would have seen Draco as letting the woman take the lead in courtship as well. There's nothing "manleh" lol about that, it's just a thing of a dominant or reticent personality, and I think he's gotten more reticent for a LITTLE while post war. I hope my fanfic shows that....it's kind of sad. The righteous bitch in Draco is muted for a bit LOL.

Re: fiyah!
LOL. Yeah. We have class from February to June and then July to November :D Coz our summer is over Christmas :) We'll see how I go. I may get it done on the weekend and be able to cross it off the list, eh? ;) :D

Mmm. I'm totally with you on that. The idea of that kind of intimacy, of opening up to someone like that, to MY version of Draco, is utterly terrifying, and he need someone who will almost force him to face his fears, and work through them together. But, if you'll read my Draco, you'll see that he's basically been running, and my Victoria- gah. I can't tell you. There's a line I'm really proud of in chapter 3 and I can't spoil it. LMAO :D

You could always do two versions, I suppose? Explore different things with the two different characters :D

HAHA. Yeah. None of it's personal when you're talking about HP, haha. We had it out over whether Draco was taking the easy or the hard way out by not killing DD. It was very interesting! :D

And yeah, just remember, Heather is a self-confessed Jock fancier, so her idea of "manliness" is strange and confusing to me. LOL XDDDD

But her Draco isn't that traumatised, so it all works. It all depends on where you think his state of mind would be in the years following, whether it'd take him months or years to work through it and move on. She said that Ursula would be quite forward at first, but when she realised just HOW MUCH she liked Draco, she'd back off, and he'd have to make more of a move, which I guess really could work. If she meant that much to him, he'd be forced to deal with it, ya know? It could be a very good, but different, take on it. :D

Peace,
Rotae

BINGO. You hit it on the nose as far as I'm concerned.

"We had it out over whether Draco was taking the easy or the hard way out by not killing DD."

See...I've actually stalked out every quote Rowling herself ever made regarding the Malfoys, and I honestly can't conceive of how that question could be entertained in the first place...but I won't go there. :^P I don't have enough energy for it, LOL. Which sounds pathetic, I know, but I'm taking a semester off and seeing both medical specialists and a shrink for some pretty um compelling reasons....

Which leads me to the next thing:
"But her Draco isn't that traumatised" I can't conceive, either, of anyone not being traumatized by seeing and experiencing what he did. The strongest person in the world would carry SOME degree of damage from that, and anyone who has actually been traumatized THEMSELVES knows this--generally, it takes the same amount of time to get over something as the duration of the traumatic event. For Draco, if you want to argue that his life was perfection before Voldemort moved into the Manor (lol, *twitch* XDDD )then it would take about one to two years to move on. Then you add to that personal sensitivity--some people are more profoundly affected by the same trauma than others. For Heather, if he is not that traumatized. Hmm.. Well. I think this doesn't reveal much about Draco. What this actually shows is that, beyond the human woes that plague us all, Heather has been blessed (thank God!) with a very happy life and it reflects in her writing of characters that she loves. You and she can tell me that I overanalyze fiction, but really, Rowling went to great efforts to make psychologically believable characters...so...it would make sense to apply psychology TO them. And I will leave it at that. ;^)

That said, forcing Draco to take initiative is a brilliant concept on her part. Brilliant.
