CLOSING DATE: December 25th 11:59 AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time). You have two weeks! :D I'll be announcing the winner the day after as well as posting the submissions for the world to enjoy!
WHO DECIDES WHO WINS?: Well, me. LOL. I consider myself to be a fair judge in this contest (I am a Hufflepuff after all, LOL). Having said this... I'll tell you what I'm looking for.
- IDEAS: I'm a BIG fan of ideas. So even if you're not the best artist, writer or graphic designer in the world, I'll look favourably upon your work if it has a good idea behind it.
- HP KNOWLEDGE: I'm a huge canon thumper, so I'm a fan of canonness :D
- HUMOUR: I do appreciate a good laugh - so don't feel obligated to be very srs about it (but you can if you want, I like that too, LOL).
- "MISSING MOMENTS": I'd love to see some original ideas for the "in between" parts of the book that we miss.
- ORIGINALITY: Is pretty self-explanatory!

- WALLPAPERS must be at least 800x600 px

BACKGROUND: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is my favourite of the Harry Potter series. Recently I have acquired another copy of the British (Australian) version of it, and as I already have both a children's and adult's copy of it, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to create a contest with the book at the prize! There are so many fantastic and talented Harry Potter fans out there, so I'm opening this up to anyone who wants to enter.

He let the faucets run and hoped no one would find him. He didn’t bother to look in the stalls but he was sure he was alone. He couldn’t bear to show his face to anyone. Not here. Not now. Not when he was down to his final ounce of sanity. No one could see him.
“There, there…” Cold air pressed against his back. He wasn’t alone. Looking up, he saw her float over him. She’d be where no one wanted her. But he needed her now.
“I…I just can’t…”
And he sobbed with her cold presence next to him.

She can hear him weeping over the running faucets. He’s not the first one to cry in the bathroom. All the boys, especially the older ones, run here for comfort. It has to be the pride. They don’t want the world to know or to hear them. The teasing will be endless.
And for Draco Malfoy, she knows they will not stop the merciless teasing. He doesn’t really have friends. Not even those goons with him are close. He’s alone and he’s crying. He needs someone. He needs someone to wipe the tears away.
“Don’t.” She whispers. “Don’t cry anymore.”

Title: Voyeur

He watches from his corner and is in awe. Can it be? Draco Malfoy has finally broken down and cried? He has never shown anything more than a sneer in his life. All he has known Malfoy to do is make terrible puns and attempt to be better than others. The closest thing to emotion that he’s shown before is anger.
But here he is. Broken. Defenseless. Crying. Defeated.
He’s crying and Moaning Myrtle hovers over him, cooing and comforting. She knows what she’s doing. Maybe because it’s not the first time she’s done it.
Intrigued, he continues to watch.
