My brain just never made the connection! I'd read, "Pete Wentz (lead singer of Fall Out Boy)" and it just wouldn't... click? Hahaha. ANYWAY. I bought the single "I Don't Care" a couple of weeks ago and about a week later my brain caught up with "Paparazziphotographed!PeteWentz = FallOutBoy's!PeteWentz". I know. I'm slow.

Had a nice telephone call today! I applied last night for a Junior Graphic Design + Finished Artist job, and the recruiting woman rang me up and basically fangirled me over the phone, LOLOL!! I was so flattered! :D She was like, "Your work is so brilliant! Just between you and me, I have about 50 applications, but your portfolio is fantastic!" and my brain went "BZUH?!" LOL. I mean, I personally think my portfolio is kinna lame, coz, well... 90% of it is Harry Potter stuff ^^; LOL XD

ANYWAY. She wanted to know how srs I was about moving to Sydney, and I said that if I got a job there I could move there almost immediately, so she said she'd pass on my resume :D YAY! I'm not expecting to get anything, but it was a nice call to have this morning :D

Mmmm... I just had some Pan de Casa bread with honey and butter and mmmmmmmmmm... it was soooo good. I'm not a huge fan of honey, but I use it in cooking and once a year I have it on toast (I much prefer savoury to sweet things). But this was just... perfect! The butter and honey had melted into the bread and mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... NOM NOM NOM :3

Tom Felton's Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Timber, is 1 year old today, so happy birthday, girl! [/randomobservation], LOL XD STFU, THERE WAS A NEW INTERVIEW WITH HIM YESTERDAY AND HE SPOKE ABOUT IT. IT'S NOT STALKERISH FOR ME TO KNOW THAT. XDDDD

4. I FINALLY got around to having a pretty mood theme!! I got one from whoresque, so now I have a shiny new Avatar mood theme :3 IZ SO AWSUM.

5. I'm throwing a BBQ with my BFF on Sunday!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! LOLOL. We've got 8 people coming (6kittykat6 couldn't make it though, BOO D:), and it's kind of gourmetish for a barbecue XDDDD Let's hope the weather holds out!! D: LOL. jhuneycutt and racheal_67 are both coming up from Hobart for it!! YAY!!! And Josh is bringing my mail!! YAY!! EXCITED!! :D XDDD

Neville took a ridiculous amount of time to get right. I think it was the idea of him being blond that threw me XDDDD But I'm generally happy with it! Draco's bitching about having to go into the forest, or something >.> LOLOL XDDDD And Hermione totally has my teeth ^^; Srsly. I looked in a mirror and everything XDDDD Hermione looks angry/confused, Harry looks HIGHLY unimpressed, Draco looks like a pissed off Pope, and Neville looks like a nervous Fat Friar Monk. So, all in all, quite happy :D XDDDDD

7. I got shortlisted over at the Fanging It competition for the ABC!! :D We had to do a 90-120 second film about going on a trip somewhere by yourself, so I went up to Cradle Mountain for a day. The final 5 got to go to Melbourne and get narrowed down to 2 who would go on a trip in a van for two weeks and then host the show about it. I didn't get through to the final 5, but I did get an e-mail saying that I HAD been shortlisted, so that was nice! :D

8. I submitted a graph to GraphJam and people seem to like it! :D It doesn't have enough votes to get on the front page, but people think it's cool, so that's good :D Here you go:

Last night (the night before? LOL) Josh, Jo, Racheal and I went to the Doctor Who night over at Rosny ABC shop :D Josh dressed up as Nine (Christopher Eccleston), Jo as Ten (David Tennant) and they both really looked like the guys they were going as, LOL (Jo is THINNER than David Tennant, SRSLY. He was SWIMMING in his Ten jacket, LOLOL XDDDD), and Racheal and I looked awesome as Donna (Rach dyed her hair red :3) and Rose (bleh. I hate Rose. LOL. CURSE HER FOR BEING THE ONLY BLONDE!! XDDD I had to be all chavtastic and lame LOL XD).

ANYWAY. They FINALLY launched the Season 3 products and I bought a Martha figurine :D Coz she's AWESOME and the only Doctor one they had was him in the red spacesuit from "42" :( There were people there buying one of EVERYTHING though, spending like HUNDREDS on stuff 0.o Makes my $20 extravagance seem quite small, y/y? I'm currently downloading Doctor Who, and it's taken over 12 hours so far :| LOL. Downloading all that Avatar made me use up all my usage for the month, half way through it, so it's going at about 9KB/s *sigh* Generally it goes at about 25KB/s. Hey Kevin, you know that 100MB/s internet we're promised by 2010? Could we get maybe a 1/3 of it now? LOL XD

Watching The Tudors atm, because I heart Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, Henry the Eighth dramas, and chen_san seems to enjoy it very much :D The Duke of Buckingham is about to get his head lopped off. LOL. Today, I spent about half an hour searching twice for my pencil. The second time, it was in the first place I looked, however, I hadn't seen it the first time, as my chair apparently has the power to Disallution my pencil, and only found it the THIRD, I repeat, THIRD, time I looked between the side of my seat and the pillow. The first time I lost it, it took me twenty minutes of frustrated trashing of my apartment only to find, when I went to the bathroom and saw my reflection, that I'd stuck it in my ponytail. True story.

ANYWAY. I'm so sorry I haven't replied to all of your comments, but on Thursday I got my second injection to prevent cervical cancer, and then I wasn't in the mood to talk, and then I crashed at about 9:30pm and didn't wake up until midday, didn't get out of bed until about two, finishing up my Hogsmeade prompts and stuff, and then emoed out because my arm was all hurty because apparently I'd slept on it. Then I went around to Josh's place and he, Erica, Tom and I watch episodes 1-8 of Avatar. And then woke up today and tried to draw. Not very successfully, as you can see by the random pencil hate. My life is so uninteresting atm, LOL XDDD

Hmm. I really don't have anything to say 0.o Oh, I suppose I should write about my rent situation atm. It's quite good! Because, basically, my lease runs out in a couple of days, and TWO MONTHS ago I contacted my relaters, going "I'd like a 6 month extension on my lease plzkthnx", and they replied with "the owners haven't made a decision yet". :| So, a MONTH ago, I asked again, and got the same response. SO. Two weeks to go now, and I'm freaking out, so I ring them up again going, "Look, I NEED TO KNOW if I'm going to have to look for a new place, and even then, I won't be in the country for a MONTH, so I don't wanna come back to find I've been evicted!" SO. The owners FINALLY came up with something, and that something is, they don't want to sign anymore leases, but they're very happy for me to stay there! They have to give me 28 days notice of an eviction anyway, but probably won't ask me to leave, so I'm free to go, basically whenever I want! :D This is awesome!! :D It means that I can move pretty much whenever I want! :D Yayyyyy!! :D

Yeah. Okay, so that was boring... >.> LOL XD

Also, I needed a DVD season for my Hogsmeade entry for the HP and another school crossover fan art thing, but one of my parents friend's is borrowing it D: GAH. DAMNIT. I'll have to go around tomorrow and ask for it back. Meh.

ALSO. I'm am TOTALLY addicted to Avatar... damnit. LOL XD One of my faithful communities has seasons 1, 2 and 3 all uploaded, so I'm downloading it now. My computer is going to get a workout over the next few weeks, LOL XD I'm claiming Sokka for Hufflepuff k? No objections? Excellent :D :3 And I think Aang is a Slytherin :D He's an excellent example of a good Slytherin :D And OMFG LOL... Prince Zuko is kinda freaking awesome as well! I expected him to be a bit like Draco in books 1-5 and be all a bit lame and never get anything right, but I like him! And he DOES get things right, and he has honour and is cool. I LOVE him and his uncle, they totally rule :D I love their relationship, it's so full of LOLsauce with a side of awesomefries XDDDD

Oooooh dear... I don't think that Ron is going to be happy with what he just walked in on... LOL XDDDD

This is meant to be set in between their sixth and seventh years, and Scorpius is spending a few days with Rose over the summer (Ron isn't happy about it. At all. LOL. But it's not like Rose and Hermione give him any choice on the situation XD).

ANYWAY. Scorpius and Rose have been more than friends for a few months at this stage (although Ron certainly doesn't know that, haha, although, he's ALWAYS been suspicious. Even when they were, you know... eleven XDDD), and they try and steal some time together one night, when they sneak out from their respective rooms and go down to get "a glass of water" Well, Rose gets Scorpius to go down there, at least. I kinda get the impression that my Scorpius is a little nervous around Ron haha, let alone snogging Ron's daughter in the room next to his, so Rose takes him downstairs :3 XDDD Unfortunately, Ron (the Auror, remember), hears movement, and goes to investigate.

SO! About the actual art :D Really quite happy with this! Especially happy with Scorpius :D LOL. I got the idea for the lip gloss a) from Moulin Rouge (Ewan looks hilarious when he snogs Nicole, and has lipstick over his face XD) and b) from his bastard lipgloss I have, that is REALLY good and keeping my lips unchapped and pretty coloured, but bugger me if it doesn't leave a mark on everything you put to them XDDDD

Uhmmmmm... Oh! The symbol on Scorpius' pyjamas is the symbol for the Scorpio star sign :D I thought it was VERY appropriate!!

We saw Knockturn Alley but the lights weren't on so it was by torch light! Saw Borgin and Burkes that way. The vanishing cabinet was in the centre, it was dark wood with a slanted roof. There were lots of skulls and creepy looking objects – even creepier due to the lack of lighting. There were wanted posters on the alley walls for Bellatrix and the Carrows.

I went and saw Lars and the Real Girl with Josh yesterday, and it was SO BRILLIANT OMFG. YOU MUST ALL SEE IT. I laughed hysterically, and I sobbed, uh, well, not hysterically, but I sobbed XDDD Anyway, after the movie, we went to a coffee shop called ONBA (where I'm having my 21st, actually), and we caught up on things. We talked about my recent Draco picture, actually, and Josh is of the opinion that Draco would definitely wear underwear underneath his nightgown, LOL XD Apparently, things, uh, well... move of their own accord, at the strangest times, and he couldn't see a teenager, wizard or not, without something to hold things, uh, in place. LMFAO XDDDD We spoke about wizarding underwear, and Draco and where purebloods get their food from, and things of that nature for a good 10 minutes. I love my friends XDDD Especially Josh, he's so patient with me XDDDD And he doesn't just smile and nod, he has lots of input and debates HP with me, even though he's not super into it :D

AND. barelyshocking put the idea in my head of me drawing "mah boys" (Ewan, Ritchie, Tom), in their underwear, and I think Josh may have convinced me to do it 0.o DAMN YOU, JOSH XDDDDD Not in my cartoon style though, in pencils, probably. We couldn't get into moaning Myrtle's bathroom because it was locked. They filmed the Sectumsempra scene there last week. They told me Tom had to lie in the fake blood and water for hours. He had a prosthetic chest on which pumped out fake blood and for each new take he had to get cleaned up and dry his hair before starting again. There are some pictures floating about of the scene and they look like Tom is lying dead in a pool of blood, very freaky for his friends to see!

The fan also mentions chatting with Tom on his lunch break:
Everyone was having lunch and I was really intimidated and trying not to be! I didn't want to 'talk shop' – though there were things I'd like to have asked. Tom was talking about a trip he had just had abroad and how he wasn't a big fantasy fan before he started doing the films. He was just friendly, normal; a people person. We talked a bit about his long commute to the studios each day and we were talking about the TV show 'The Apprentice'. He laughed when he was told he didn't look like his character, I said it's because Draco always looks so cross. He though that would be the art to not getting recognised, just smile a lot. Most of the other conversation was about the food and the heat, it was a very hot afternoon and he was dressed in black for filming.

I read until 2am last night, tried to go to sleep, kept thinking about the book, and had to start reading again. LOLOL.

So. Yesterday. UGH. Day of Travel. I left home at 4:30pm, took a wrong turn, but ended up at my friend's place where I left my car, got a taxi, got taken the long way to the airport, so was charged $20 for a $10 fare, got on the plane, read, got off the plane, read, got moved to "an earlier flight" which left LATER than the original, read, finally got into Sydney at 10pm, came to my grandmother's, had dinner, read, tried to go to sleep, read, slept.

Well, hands up all those who got fired OVER THE PHONE before work this morning...

0.o Eh... I know, right? Basically the work I was doing was no longer needed. Goddamn it.

Anyway... they gave me two weeks notice, so I have those two weeks so find things I might be interested in. But it's just at the most SHIT time, because I'm GOING AWAY FOR A MONTH IN TWO MONTHS TIME. HELLO?! And now I'm not saving money, I'm losing it. God freaking damn it. GAH.

I dunno... these are my options:

1. Get a shitty job that I can just quit after two months - probably end up doing this one.
2. Move back home next month and try to save money that way (I haven't discussed this option with my parents yet though, lol)
3. Look for work in my industry somewhere like Sydney, where I can live with relatives for a few months, go to the US looking for work and either come back or move over there
4. Look into moving to Sydney permanently

MEH. Annoyed, to be perfectly honest. I kinda saw it coming, but it still sucks.

Oh well. Life goes on, and I have some options to seriously consider over the next couple of weeks. AND. The Universe has given me some consolation prizes in my final nominations for H_E...

ARRRRRRRRRRRT (that isn't Harry Potter ZOMG WTF?!)


So this is Warren Clarke as Superintendent Andy Dalziel (pronounced dee-EL) from the BBC adaptation of Reginald Hill's novel series Dalziel and Pascoe.

Not really much to say about this. I drew it in the same style as my A Bit of Fry and Laurie picture here (which I think I'll colour soon, incidentally) and the coloured it in Photoshop.

I sketched Pascoe, but darn it if Colin Buchanan is just too darn classically handsome (i.e. he looks like Ewan McGregor, LOLOL) and didn't turn out well because of it. :D STRANGE LOOKING FTW!! XD

ANYWAY, yes. I love the novels, and the tv show is brilliant too. Dalziel is so gross though... LOL. Seriously. In the books he's smoking, and drinking and scratching his crotch every five minutes, hahaha :D

HOWEVER. I DO want to explain my most recent entries in the Quidditch match against Gryffindor. The prompt was the Bohemian ideals of Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Love, and here's what I entered:


NOW. Explanations. From left to right:

Truth is Barty Crouch Jnr. When the truth hurts more than lies. I used the natural colouring of this to guide my choices for the entire thing. The colour in his background is green, and the colour on his face is yellow. I liked that because, to me, it's a very Slytherpuff thing: the honesty of doing something because you believe it is absolutely the right thing to do, even when it isn't.

Beauty is Bellatrix Lestrange. The loss of the beauty that wasn't ever deserved to begin with. The tragedy of the beautiful mad woman. Her background is blue symbolising Ravenclaw, thus intelligence, and how while she is fiercely bright, she is led by warped logic.

Bellatrix and Barty are both dark. Cedric and Harry are both light.

Freedom is Cedric Diggory. Death is the main theme of Harry Potter. JKR's mother's death completely changed the series. In Deathly Hallows, Harry is shown that those he loves are well, and safe, even in death. Dumbledore says that death is but the next great adventure. There is a certain amount of morbidity in the theme of freedom in death in Harry Potter. Cedric's background is actually yellow. Symbolising the champion of Hufflepuff.

Love is Harry Potter. Love is Harry's secret weapon. But pain comes both with love, and without it. You never lose your love for someone, even if you lose them. It may fade over time, but if you truly loved them, it will never die with them. The other prominent colour is red, symbolising Harry's love, his anger, and his Gryffindor nature.

OH FREAKING YES. I WENT ALL MORBID ON YOUR ARSES. LMFAO. No, seriously, I put a lot of effort into them, so I thought I'd explain, hahaa :D SEE. I CAN BE SRS WHEN I WANT TO BE :D *is SO not wearing her "Cheer Up Emo Kid" t-shirt* ^^; haha :D

I took part in the latest newspoll over a few things including approval ratings of Kevin. His approval rating is at 73% that's almost 3/4 of the effing population!!! The Opposition leader's is at 9% *SNORFLE* AND THAT'S NOT THE LOWEST RATING HE'S EVER HAD!! HAHAHAHAHA!! :D Although, I do approve of him. Like I said to amathela, I look at it like this: I'm never going to like his policies because they're Liberal Party policies. I'm never going to like anything he says, because he's the voice of the Liberal Party. And he's leading the Liberal Party the way I like... i.e. into the ground. LOL XDDDDD So I said I think he's doing a good job XD THEY DON'T NEED TO KNOW IT'S BECAUSE I WANT THEM TO SUCK!! XDDDDD
