Yeah, I actually wrote to them about it, and apparently they're having issues with the distributor in Australia who they work with. :(

I actually didn't use a phone at all, I downloaded Gizmo Project for LJ Talk (http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=271) to my parents computer and used the microphone headset I bought them, LOL. I hope you have some luck!! :D
