BECAUSE. I was talking to my mother the other day about how much I have to save up to go, and she thought I was going for a while, and I said, nah, it'll only be like 2 weeks or something. And she said that maybe for my 21st she and Dad could pay for my airfares!!! OMG!!! And then she said, "and then you should just save up the money you would have spent on airfares and just go for longer"!!! OMG!!! LMAO :D

So it's still very tentative atm, but it's looking HIGHLY LIKELY that I might be ROADTRIPPIN' USA!! XDDDDDD YAY!! :D LOL. I'm trying to talk Heather into coming with me for some of it. SHE WILL CRUMBLE EVENTUALLY. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!

oh my O.O XD Crazy Rotae's Driving Adventure! ;D

I guess, to me, the desert is boring as hell. At least the mountains can be pretty, and interesting... and when towns are closer together it's kinda cute. I dunno. You know, for some reason, even though I know Australia is historically "British"-y, I didn't figure that you guys drive on the other side of the road.

How would you do it though? I don't think you can rent a car easily unless you want to pay a buttload of fees. -_- It cost me almost more in underage fees to rent a car in North Carolina for two days than it did to actually -rent- the car. (And then my mom thought I should pile on extra insurance money, which was stupid... so that cost even more. But still.)

Maybe you should get driving minions! :D

Yeah, deserts can get boring... like 80% of Australia is desert or something, LOL. Mmm. We drive on the left :) I remember going to Hungary and sitting behind the "drivers" side and looking diagonally in front of me and seeing a steering wheel and going ZOMGWTFBBQ?! LOL.

That's awesome! I got a similar gift from my mum for my 21st. Roadtripping the US! :D Don't hire a car. They charge through the roof for under 25s. The Greyhound or Amtrack should be able to do you.
