Pssh, no way am I setting myself another deadline! ;) I'll just write them up on my own and then post them sometime. Honestly, I wasn't intending to submit them anyway *laughs* I'm terribly paranoid that way, and I like having my things where I can access them at all times. :P But thank God they're going to be short (and I'm going to try and keep the 1000- limit as best I can, here). Argh, I still can't believe I had to butcher my Christmas story into two posts :( Now it looks all messy and retarded and it makes me wanna cry every time I look at it *sob* And I can only fit two more story links in my side-bar, and then it's going to look like a right-old pigsty *sob* *sob* *sob* (I'm a perfectionist, you see.)

Yeah, I know!! But... it's only a year and a half... I think it's too ambitious to think that she'd have finished it by then *sulks*

Well ... she's going to start writing it by New Years (if she hasn't already). Apparently, she's got the entire outline written, every bit of it, and now she's actually going to write the thing. So I think a year and a half is pretty reasonable (it's all ready been half a year, after all, so it'd be two years, really). Honestly, I think she'll get the manuscript done sooner, but give or take half a year for the publishers to edit the thing and do whatever else they have to do before publication date. Ugh. That's how it always is: it's the publishers that take up all the time.
