Today is ANZAC Day here in Australia - a day where we remember our troops from the wars Australia has fought. Traditionally it pay homage specifically to the veterans of WWI (people known as "Diggers" in the day), but it's developed over time.

I'm celebrating by baking ANZAC biscuits! They were sent to troops from home because they were the only things that didn't go off or lose their tastiness over time, LOL. You guessed it - they have Golden Syrup in them XD LOL.

I might rent out Gallipoli if I feel like a bit of a cry later tonight, HAHA. Oh Mel Gibson... WHERE DID IT ALL GO SO WRONG?!

Sorry I haven't been updating or replying to stuff - things are extremely hectic atm. Sigh. The Uni had my middle name down as my last name for enrolment, so I had to go in and get it changed today (which could take a couple of days) because I need to fill out my HECS stuff to defer my fees, and then I had to go to Service Tasmania to get a form that I had to fill out and take to the Police Station so they could do a police check on me so I could go into schools and teach and now I'm not sure that I'm going to get everything in on time before my prac and a;lsdkj;alkjdfa;kdsjf;laskdjf. I have maths in an hour... which I'm still not properly enrolled for either. SIGH. LOL XD

HOWEVER.

So, for the past few days I've been driving my aunt's car, and LOL... it's a manual ^^; which....... I haven't driven for about five years XDDDD Oh man... I'd forgotten why I thought driving was so scary/frustrating when I first started - I WAS DRIVING A MANUAL CAR!! XDDDDD And I had a horrible teacher, I guess, LOL XD

But srsly, it's so frustrating, LOL. I've stalled so much and I keep kangaroo hopping about 20% of the time, LOL.

The worst part about it is how bad I feel for the people behind me ^^; And gosh, I don't even want to try reverse parking XDDDD It also doesn't help that I don't know these roads like the back of my hand, unlike Hobart XD

HOWEVER. I did manage to drive to the cinema and back tonight without stalling or doing too much kangaroo hopping, so that's good :D

And now for something completely different... Heroes! Was it just me or... was the newest episode... (DARE I SAY IT?!)... kinda... good? LOL. I mean, I still watch it, but it's gone downhill since series one, and this latest one... I really enjoyed!! LOL!! MOHINDER!! YAY!! PETER WAS... COOL?!?!?! WTF?!?!?! LOLOL. IT'S SO OOC!! XDDDDD I still want to punch Claire in the head, but they couldn't improve EVERYTHING, I suppose XD

Art is going... strangely. LOL. I've started to draw the HP characters in their mid-20s... and I've managed to draw Ron/Hermione and Harry/Ginny, but... I'm having trouble drawing Draco?! WTFFFFFFFF. LOL. I haven't had trouble drawing him for YEARS. Weird.

I'm reading two books atm too... Stardust Neil Gaiman for the hogwarts_elite bookclub, and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Steig Larsson. So that's keeping me busy!

We were talking about the different classes in terms of Hogwarts Houses the other day... I think that Paladins are Hufflepuffs, Rogues are Slytherins, Priests are Ravenclaws, and Hunters are Gryffindors XDDDD This is ironic because I'm the Rogue and buttfacemakani is a Paladin XDDDDD I'm trying to resist the urge to draw HP characters in WoW classes ^^; XDDDDDD

Jo and I went and saw Slumdog Millionaire tonight, which was very enjoyable :D I knew four of the answers to the questions though, LOLOL XDDDDD One I knew through Venture Bros., and another through Supernatural ^^; One was literature and the last one I knew from my love of Cricket :D

Anyway, great music, and a good film, but The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was better. I find Danny Boyle to be an overrated director if I'm perfectly honest. The only film I've LOVED of his was Trainspotting. Even my Ewan love couldn't save Shallow Grave from being strange and not very entertaining, LOL. Admittedly I haven't seen either of the 28 Days/Weeks films, so eh.

Did anyone else do a double take when they saw Christian Coulson was a Producer? LOLOL. Not the same guy unfortunately, but LOL @ me anyway XDDD

I went around to Tom, Erika and Brodie's yesterday for a BBQ/Art jam, and took a flying leap in drawing with coloured markers :3 So here's my little go at Teddy with them (it's not very good but eh, it was my first time XD)

UGH. I've been downloading fucking patches for WoW for like eight hours now. UGGGGGGGGGHHHHH. With at least two to go and then probably another five. Apparently I haven't logged on since March 2008 ^^; I'm going to go through like 2GB of my 12GB monthly allowance. LOLOLOL. ^^;

False advertising, rite? LOL). In America I support Obama for a lot of reasons, that I will probably detail at some stage, LOL. So don't be surprised if I post political stuff fairly regularly.

Despite my abuse of the English language on occasion, spelling and grammar are VERY important to me. I'm a member of the Facebook group: "If You Can't Differentiate Between "Your" and "You're" You Deserve To Die" LMFAO XDDDD I'm also a supporter of the, "Apostrophe Protection Society" LOL :D Also, I like learning new words, so I either put a word I learnt, or one that relates to the post as a subject! YAY LEARNING!!

So this is one of my World of Warcraft characters. She's a Blood Elf, level 14 Rogue, and I'm having so much fun with her :D Her professions are leather making and skinning, and I love it so much!

My main character is a 35 Human Paladin, but she has horrible leg armour atm, LMAO. :D It looks like she's skinned a crocodile or something, haha. BUT. Today I took her into PvP for the first time, and had so much fun. I'll draw her when she has nicer armour :D She's very mismatched; red shirt, green/gold/brown chest armour, green/blue pant armour, dark blue shoes, dark blue bracers, brown gloves, orange shoulder armour, purple cloak, dark blue head armour and a red and gold guild tabard, haha :D Tonks'd think it were outrageous LOL :D

So yes. Blame buttfacemakani for the WoW fan art. She keeps drawing her Guild Wars characters and whenever I see them I think, "Oooooooh... I should draw my WoW characters" LOL :D

Just one final thing... are ya'll (SEE I CAN BE TEXAN :| I'M PRACTISING) noticing a little line forming on my road trip map? Hmm? With about 4 exceptions... Okay, so first of all, I'm going to keep track of all of the movies I've seen this year. It's gonna be hella huge this list, zomg, lol. It's, what... the 3rd? And I've already seen two movies at the cinema and watched one on DVD :| SRSLY. ANYWAY, I shall be setting that up some time soon... w00t! :D

AND. OMG. I saw Aliens vs. Predator 2: Requiem last night and ACTUALLY LOVED IT :O I NO, RITE?! WTF?! IT. WAS. ACTUALLY. BRILLIANT. I would see this movie again in the cinema and probably buy it on DVD as well. :|||||||| I can't get over how it was actually good. LOL. Apart from the fact that it's kinda thrown the Alien movies out of the water in terms of we've now see Alien in THIS time... >.> LOL.

So, yes. You know that meme that was going around with "How Privileged Are You?" thing? Yeah, I didn't do that because I already know I am. Because... I went to school and live in a democratic society that treats me as an equal. I think that compared to some of the places in the world, that's pretty fucking privileged, LOL.

Uhm... so... Christmas was good, I didn't get a lot of stuff, but seeing all the family is always more than worth it :D BUT. My parents did give me an OSKAR 400 Continuous Flow Food Processor ZOMG. FEEL THE AWESOME!!! :D I CAN MAKE PESTO!!! *shrieks* :D YAYYYYYYY!!!

We went down to Strahan on the West Coast and went on a boat cruise up the river and out through Hell's Gates. Which looked a little something like this:

New Years was excellent! I caught up with three of my bffs, hailz, psycoticaxemurd and 6kittykat6, and we went and saw The Golden Compass (IZ VERY NIZE :D) before heading down to "A Night on the Terrace" for the fireworks, which for the last 20 seconds went a little something like this:


So we had fireworks at 10pm for the kids, 12am for the adults and then again on the 1st at 10pm for the carnival. And they went for at least 10 minutes each. In my LITTLE town, LOL. Australia pwns fireworks, srsly. :D

I've been watching Australia vs. India in the cricket, and it's been very enjoyable. An actual good contest, which is nice (unlike when we play England *cough cough* LOL). It gives me no end of amusement to pronounce Kumble (supposed to be pronounced Coom-blay), Come-bool, hehehehehe :D Ahhhh... I'm so easily amused... speaking of which, I've been playing more World of Warcraft! I'm now level 32!! W00t!! :D Oh, and Kevin07 and HUGH JACKMAN were at the cricket together the other day *dies of awesome* :D XDDDD

And yes. I'm getting my car serviced and detailed next Monday/Tuesday and then I'll head back to my apartment. My poor plants they're probably all dead, LOL.

So yes. I feel as though I should make a "REAL" entry, so I shall, even though it isn't of interest to anyone other than me... LOL.

First off, I suppose I should talk to you guys about World of Warcraft. Yes. I know. I'm a nerd. STFU. LOL. So, just as a bit of backstory, I got WoW about... ooohhh... what... six months ago? Yeah... coz it was near my birthday... ANYWAY. LOL. After months of leaning over psycoticaxemurd's shoulder going "WHUT R U DUING, BUFFY?" and him finally going "OMG JUST BUY IT ALREADY", I bought World of Warcraft. And I really am still a big n00b. I ask stupid questions and I still find that I'm not doing things that I should be doing, LOL, so when I first started out I was the n00biest n00b of the n00bs because the only computer/video/X-BOX/Playstation games I'd ever played at any sort of length were Star Wars Episode 1 and Solitaire. LMFAO.
